This is the only game I have ever played where a company hasn't tried to remove smurfing...

In fact the made it easier to smurf be nerfing the level exp requirements last season. Like shit no one wants to play against smurfs in ranked, its unfair. no one wants to see players being boosted by people on smurf accounts. Smurfs are toxic and BM. Nothing good comes from smurfs. Do something to reduce the number or remove them completely.

Yah but they make it way harder. For example rocket league, if I play with someone, I'll use league ranks for the example, If im gold 5 and duo with a plat 1, we are put against plat 1 players every single time to make boosting harder.

But if someone is a smurf and made it to play with a friend, theyre both unranked. What then?

Boosting and smurfing is totaly different.

I mostly play alone on my smurfs.

How could they remove smurfing? They can't. They already tune the matchmaker to try and detect smurfs and move their mmr faster. No much else they can do.

They could remove duoing in ranked and I'm sure that would reducing smurfing as I know for a fact thousands of players make accounts just to duo with they shitty friends.

Also, they could, if they want to, change the rule to one account per household, and then ban every new account made on each ip adress.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against smurfs. Just pointing out the easiest way for them to do so.

That wouldnt work as IP addresses change constantly, can be changed manually, and is just unfair. What if a household has 6 kids and 3 of them like league?

Anything to do with ip is a failure with too much collateral damage for something that doesn't even work. Even hardware bans don't work. They could possibly require credit card info for sign up but that might also have serious negatives considering their playerbase.

They could do that, and people have been asking for it for years. Not likely they will though. It's a very popular feature, pretty much every match has duos in it.
