Item Niches I'd like to see filled in 2019

Defensive support items: Give damage supports like
itemization options so they can build supportive when their team really needs them to. For example, a Knights Vow kind of item that steals resistances from opponents you damage and gives them to a chosen partner. These items would still give them AD/AP stats but sacrifice some of that for support purposes. -
An item for AP assassins other than gunblade. The item should give flat magic pen for early damage, but with a passive that favors them over mages. Eg: Speed Blitz: Any form of dash/blink and moving faster than 400 MS builds stacks and grants you bonus magic pen for 3-5 seconds after doing so. Upon reaching 100 stacks, gain a burst of movement speed for 1 second. This could also just serve as a rework for

An
alternative that synergizes more with
and abilities rather than
and crit. Passive, Opportunist: After a critical strike auto attack your next ability will critically strike for additional damage, scaling with critical strike damage. It probably shouldn't be a 200% buff like with auto attacks since that would be OP, but it would be strong enough to allow casters to cap out at 50% crit, while enhancing their abilities to make up for the damage. -
An
alternative for mages that can improve their dps for the bot lane role. Keeping them viable there even after ADCs are relevant again. Passive: Each basic attack converts 2% of your current mana as bonus magic damage (Only occurs when above 20% mana). Expending a large amount of mana within 3 seconds triggers Spell Weaving: Increase attack speed for 5 seconds, and your next 3 basic attacks deal additional magic damage based on 20% of the damage done in that 2 second window.
