I Don't care if Matchmaking is "Fair", it isn't FUN

As you can see in the image, medium MMR for both teams is approximately the same. Problem? The match is loop sided because the silver player is terrible, and I completely dominate lane with no challenge and get permaganked while all my other lanes lose or go even at best

From what i can see the problem would be that the silver player only played 29 games and b/c of the small sample size the MMR system's rating for their skill level is innacurate.

nope, it is that it averages my mmr with his

its both, he wouldn't be in the pool of players if his mmr accurately represented his skill but yes the pool of players is too broad of a skill level discrepancy.

Indeed, people should be matched against opponents who have similar skill level in their role as them.

That is a start, ideally I want to be matched with player my own level, or at least approximate. At the very least I want to be matched with high golds... seriously I find no challenge in pummelling a maoki to the base and beating him by 40 CS only to then lose the game by the 13 min mark. Not a fun lane, not a fun match

I feel for you.

Why are you playing against gold players if you are a diamond...? The matching system sucks ass >.<

c'mmon you can think more than that. Of course once the laning phase ends after getting ganked 4 times he would catch up and gain more CS and kills. LoL isn't won when the match is over, it is won when the enemy gets a significant lead. Go watch the replay, every time I died it was due to kha ganking me. Up until about the end of lane phase I had a 40 CS advantage, when I died for the third time

Matchmaking just forces a 50% win ratio as much as possible, instead of trying to make fair games.
