electrocute / dank harvest really doesn't make the difference on whether you can counter jungle someone or not, well at least in 90% of cases.

electrocute: 50+50% bonus AD damage starting from rank 1, scaling up from there DarkHarvest: absolutely nothing level 1 scaling up to useful around the 20 minute mark

If u have Dark harvest u cant really counterjgl because you dont have a keystone for the first 10 minutes of the game.

actually dark harvest is 40 + 25% bonus ad at level 1 so about 20 damage less

you need to be at least level 18 and have a infinity edge worth of bonus ad for electro to deal 270 damage, also did you know that rengar players than run dark harvest over electrocute win more games?

Players that use Dark Harvest on Rengar are using it because they know they can e.g if they are smurfing, for example I used DH when I was in silve III/IV at the start of preseason.

buying IE after the other lethality items was always a thing on rengo since his "jump auto" after using R is a guaranteed crit.

Just saying IE is not bought on rengar, unless if you are new to the champion and did not experiement with his builds. The top 6 koreans with most games on rengar on op.gg dont build item 3031 in any of their games wanna know why? item 3814 item 3071 item 3036 item 3026 item 3812 item 3065 (If you need the mr and extra healing) are just straight up better to play with. (I also like to go item 3074 sometimes for extra style points with my 1 shot). If you have enough games with rengar and experiemented you would realise that you don't need item 3031 because with the CORRECT 1 shot rengar combo can 1 shot without IE so any of the above items are more useful than IE will ever be.

TLDR; item 3031 is a noob trap. A good rengar can 1 shot without it.

2 reasons: A) Because people that got good at rengar could auto-reset like 4 times in the time it takes him to use his Q once now. (delayed burst) B) To help with clear because knife cat (somewhat) struggled with that.

Reav3: We are currently looking into possibly doing a partial revert to him, looking primarily at reverting the Q. Obviously these things aren't always that simple so I can’t say for sure it will ship or when it would ship if it does look promising.

Makes sense since if they only revert Q his kit wouldn’t probably work together smoothly

His Q is probably not going to be reverted but idk yet since the rework didn't go out yet. I hope they touch on the stealth into 1 shot with duskblade but keep his assassin playstyle (or diver? he's like both).

That ultimate is the core concept of Rengar and removing it would delete his identity. Riot will never do such thing. When they reworked Warwick, they left his ultimate almost the same, the only completelly reworked ultimate was Evelyn but her old R wasnt the core concept of her and has nothing to di with her identity. Removing Rengar's ultimate is equall as removing isolatin or evolve points on Kha'Zix

So was Poppy's ult and they changed it because it just couldn't be left in the game. They've reworked him three times now and it's accomplished nothing, there comes a point where you have to change something even if it's iconic for a champ.

Nope, Poppy is still Poppy, Rengar wouldn't be Rengar anymore without stealth and leap from his ult. Rengar is also iconic champion with huge playerbase and onetricks while barely anyone cares about Poppy. Believe me or nor, Rengar is never going to lose his ultimate. It might be tweaked or whatever, but core will remain the same, stealth and leap, he's a cat, ferocious predator after all. If you have problems with Rengar, just pick Kindred and make his life a living hell. :3

Yes but still doesnt change the fact thar shes not even close to Rengar in terms of popularity and so on. Rengar basically have followers like hes some sort of cult, he brings a lot of money and players simply love his ultimate and its not even questionable.

Whether or not a champions popular has no bearing on whether or not something should be removed or changed in their kit. Further, the constant changes they've had to make to everything else about him just to keep that ult has already aggravated Rengar players and this has been going on for years. Just look at what it is now, they've added a global sound, a detection radius, and a visual cue for when he's close to you, don't you think it'd be better to just give him a more modified version of his current ult or a new one altogether rather than them having to constantly do check ups on him?

Yes because as we all know, while we're in the earliest stage of the changes we can conclude something is broken. You're thinking about numbers when that isn't the point.

The reason it got changed in the first place was fucking stupid though, nobody asked for it and it's one of the many failures Riot made with the assassin update. Tons of champions got this "delayed" gimmick that just murdered the assassin class. There was no point of it anyway since they just added a x2 mechanic to his ult and overloaded him with free AD so a right click is even stronger than the old emp Q.

All in all it's basically like a wise old man once said: "New Rengar is technically better than old Rengar, because now he collects tears from the people he one shots and the ones who play him."

Abusing Duskblade's as an op item doesn't mean Assassins are good in anyway. It means they abuse it. Much like Ardent at times when people like you were like "Support building support items" until it got nerfed.
