Relic Shield on Ivern?

After getting at least your Tracker's Knife or whatever, you can then get a Relic Shield on Ivern to roam into lanes and provide a heal for allies. Is this a good idea or not?

There's better uses for your gold honestly, like investing into tankiness and boots asap.

There are better uses of your gold and time.

Relic Shield on an Ivern jungler is not a good idea. He doesn't utilize it as effectively as say, Spellthief, where he is rewarded for attacking enemies and towers.

+75 HP

+2 Gold per 10 seconds

Heals for +15HP on Ivern and lowest ally.

Gives +17g to you and whoever you healed.

Analysis:

No, because if you're actively jungling (talking about early game specifically), you will get ganked while you're trying to proc your passive. Imagine a Khazix coming into mid lane as you're trinyg to support like that (after your first 3 camps). You have low hp, you gained 34g, 68g as a team, and now you died. First blooded and gave enemy way more gold. Not worth the time, or the gold. Waste of good stats, you'd have to upgrade it, etc.

If you're going support Ivern then yes, get Relic Shield, it's much better than the other options because he doesn't have any poke, nor does he have mana issues and relic shield gives him something to do while waiting for opportunities to use your other spells. On jungle Ivern though, no. By the time you'd be getting it it wouldn't give much and unlike a support who would start off with it it wouldn't pay itself off by the time the game ends.

Asking questions about the new champions that people don't actually know how to play while performing a pocket role style of jungler that is rare off-meta (support jg) and watch them answer.

Well played, Maverick.
