First off, that healing? it's impossible to poke the croc in any meaningful way now. He also gets higher damage-output all at the same time, because his fury is available more in fights. YEY.

And also: No downtimes. There really is NO counterplay to him any more, because if you engage during his traditional "downtime" eg. 0 fury... well he just gains a million fury by proccing 2 abilities on you, and then uses empowered stun to smack you in the face. So unless you can avoid him COMPLETELY and still farm... well good luck.

Renekton never had counterplay to begin with.

His counterplay is not dying to him, which will make him useless soon enough.

But no, everyone has to just kill,kill,kill in this game in order to be satisfied.

Renekton has all the tools to dive most champions in the game. Not dying is easier said than done ;) also if you want to carry, which is a necessity in solo queue, there needs to be ways to beat ANY lane opponent. no matter if it's a lane bully. you cannot carry yolo queue by staying even in lane, cause you can damn well bet yer other lanes will swing one way or another.

Old renekton had downtimes in combat efficiency and sustained a LOT less. so it was possible to beat him by playing smart, i don't feel that's possible now.
