Camille e bypassing roots is one thing, but grounding effects as well?

No offense but this seems silly. The entire idea of a grounding effect is that you can use dashes or any type of movement ability. Why can you not take a bard portal, but take a camille e? you should fire the missile and go nowhere, same when rooted imo.

Some abilities (Naut Q, Leona E, J4 combo, Camile E) grant mobility but are not coded as dashes. These specific cases are coded as displacement, but simply one your champion effects themselves with.

The only way to 'ground' that would be to make grounding effect all kind of displacement effects, which would result in any grounded champion being immune to any form of hook / knock back / knock up / ect. Probably not the way to go about it.

She gets grounded during the second phase. Launching the tether doesn't count as a mobility spell, but springing off the wall does. Ground her on the wall and it'll time out and she doesn't get to use the second jump.

This is because its not coded as a mobility spells as the condition of mobility is dependent on the spell landing. same is for J4

Can't use dashes/movement.

Simple, its not technically mobility. Grounding stops her second dash if i remember right but the first part is her being pulled by an allied hook basically. And enemy blitz can hook you while grounded.

She doesnt dash, she gets pulled.

Seems legit to me.

Think of it like quick sand, sure you can't walk out of it (using your legs), but you can be pulled out or pull yourself out with something tethered elsewhere.

All dashes pass grounding effects because grounding only effects on cast not on travel. Unless i missed something. Oh you mean the E throw Yea that should be grounded Leona's E is So is Nautilus Q. But In my opinion they need to revert Camille to Her release On everything but her Q Lower her Q true damage and buff the Physical damage it does. She doesnt even have an ult early game cause you can run to the edge of it and then dash the half second its over because it disappates before it even has a chance to stop anything. Courgage of the Colossus is gone so you can burst through her One damage type shield now even though you are supposed to hold your damage until after the short duration shield is done. Not talking any bugg fixes just nerfs and buffs. Camille was One of the most increadibly Balanced Strong with out being bullshit champions ive ever seen released in my opinion. The worst thing was a bunch of safe backline mains crying that camille would jump on them ult them in the middle of their team and they cant burst through 2 shields (its a massive waste of shields to stack them and activate them at the same time rather than use them one after the other but camille didnt even have much of a choice) which she had to build for and sacrifice damage to make any kind of good Or excape from the ult Which all the had to do was have their team cc her while they kite her around the ult.

Same thing happens with J4. I'm sure it's a coding problem in the game where it doesn't register it as a movement spell on cast because a condition needs to be met, but once it is actually met there is nothing interrupting the dash.

If you ground Camille where she will latch onto rather than where she is, she won't be able to use the dash of her E. That's because her E cables "pull" her, mechanically speaking, rather than her dashing - which is the second part of her E. Think of it like a Nautilus Q, which also functions the same way.

It's for the same reason that every other delayed dash goes through CC. Feel free to fix it on Camile, but also Ezreal, Tristana, etc. Interestingly, stuns generally stop her from flying to the wall if she is hit mid-flight (but roots do not).
