We need to be have reports for champ select.

There needs to be a report function after dropping out of champ select in ranked, so you can get some of those champ select trolls out of the game. they rely on someone losing 3lp so they can troll without being reported, and it's frigging annoying for the players who either have to lose 3 or 15lp depending on queue dodge or playing it out JUST so you can get to report the player. The "I firstpick teemo with clairvoyance and cleanse" style of trolling needs to be countered somehow.

It would only work if a player gets reported all the fucking time. And you dont report a Nunu with flash smite, but you do report disco nunu

i had this post in another thread but ill repost it here:

For people like that, we need an option to kick and report. get 2 others to agree to it and its successful. When it succeeds, the lobby is canceled immediately along with the kicked player being banned from ranked queues for 5 minutes(think low priority queue), it will happen every time they attempt to enter a ranked game in solo/duo queue. Every time after that it stacks, adding on another 5 minutes. Stacks are cleared at the end of the season or by Riot if the reports are false (or by the tribunal if that thing ever comes back). If found to be false, each false reporters will be given 2 stacks, so the next time they enter a ranked queue, they will have to wait 10 minutes, assuming they have no stacks before hand. This is so people cant just abuse this for a free dodge with 0 repercussions, and so players who pick lesser played champs dont get kicked as much(hopefully) because there would be no real proof they intended to troll. If a player reaches a 1 hour ban, they are permabanned from ranked on that account, and no stacks will be dropped after the season ends, but can still be removed by Riot and/or the Tribunal, allowing them to play ranked on the account again. To reach a 1 hour ban, it would require you to false report 6 times, thus trying to abuse the system, get kicked 12 times, which at that point there is no mistaking that you are trolling, or a combination of false reporting and getting kicked.

Thoughts? did i miss anything? easy things people could still do to abuse this?

Or maybe some kind of vote to kick function in champ select that only works if you get enough votes, and the player has a history of getting reported.

They should make a report button that looks at the chat when you press it to detect words like "Mid or Feed" or "Mid or AFK" something that can detect words like that then disband the lobby and not allow the person to q for ranked for like a day then the more they do it the longer they're put out of ranked q's. Makes sense to me that way the community can't abuse it.

What's stopping me from just not saying anything and picking Disco Nunu?

This will always be bad cuz both sides will abuse it

I may have found out that Fiddle top is op and want to take him in ranked but then I get banned for "trolling" just because other people don't believe me

on the other side I could act all friendly like "Can you let me mid? it's the only lane I can play" then when I'm forced into support I can go like "Ok then I'm taking Kogmaw" you may bitch, you may wine all you want, but I can simply say he is a good support and then just take all the kills in-game without ever admiting I'm trolling or feeding

Dude. "open mind" sure, but teemo with clairvoyance + cleanse is trolling. that's all it is. and obviously like any other report system it would lead to a checking of chat logs, and have a person looking at it. I'm just tired of these people who queue up to call "troll", instalok swain with tp ignite, start calling people names and build ad. i wouldn't mind a person legitly trying to play AD Swain, which, albeit bad, can be played. But there needs to be some way of removing these "free" trolls, who don't get reported because they make sure to behave so much like an ass that SOMEONE will leave champ select, even if it's a ranked game.

Starting to spam harassment the second you enter champ select, and then going on to pick teemo jungle with no smite is not exactly that. i don't think anyones gonna report you for saying that their pick is subpar in this team comp, and could you please pick something else.

it's not an automated report system... You go in check the chat logs, check the summoner spells, and then when some tribunal member sees a teemo with cleanse/clairvoyance who's been spamming abuse in chat since second one, i THINK they'll know that it's not just a report because you wanna stick to the meta.

This will never happen. It can be so easily abused. If someone picks an off meta pick they are MUCH more likely to be reported for assisting enemy team. Then they will play worse because they are flamed and then they will actually fill the requirements of that report.
