So are we ever gonna see more grievous wounds implemented into the game?

Honestly this is just extremely annoying with all the healing going off like Fiora ults and the biggest one being life steal. It's impossible to duel these champs that build it without having some yourself or being able to blow them up instantly. Not to mention mid laners are now just taking TP over ignite, creating teams without greivous wounds unless your mid laner builds morellos which isn't even guaranteed to kick in during fights. I dunno, this post I guess seems salty, because honestly I did just lose against a team where everyone had access to their own form of healing and they usually came out above half hp or near full from every team fight. I'm kind of just holding out on life steal being nerfed a bit with the upcoming marksmen changes, but it seems kind of unlikely due to these champs being squishy enough.

About a month ago or so a Rioter (might have been Meddler) said that Riot wasn't opposed to creating a new AD grievous wounds item, but first they had to evaluate the place grievous wounds has in the game. Historically, it has kind of warped the balance of healers because of how strong the effect is and how easy it is to apply, so healers and self-healers needed to be balanced around the assumption that they might need enough power to just muscle through grievous wounds. It's actually been a pretty terribly-designed and terribly-implemented mechanic for most of the game. It's possible that in order to incorporate the effect onto more items, Riot would have to lower the actual healing reduction numbers quite a bit or make it very unreliable or inconsistent to apply.

So, basically, don't expect anything anytime in the near future, but they do eventually want to look into it. It's just not a priority right now.
