The consistency of match making in sliver is deplorable..

The inconsistency of the elo im currently in is mind blogging to the point where i legit believe the only way out is to perform like a god in every match and for just sliver i believe that's a little too much to ask for. This season although new has struck as me as being infuriating. Im aware that the match making system is designed to keep you from crawling the ladder however i find myself going :

#W W W W L L L L L L W W W L L L W W W L L L

Like if you win even if you got carried for some reason the next match is practically given to you just because you had the first one won etc and everyone likes winning obliviously but then you lose ONE just ONE match holy shit you start getting the worst teammates possible ! it legit feels like your literally hiring these people to log in league and queue just to fuck with me and end my win streak but no it doesn't end there 4? 5? hard tooth & nail fought wins ina row? NOPE were gonna give you someone whos on a losing streak and tilted or lets give you someone who isn't even familiar with the game AKA new unranked players. No lets give you the worst situation possible so you lose ! I know Riot isnt saying this but this matching making sure as fuck makes me feel this way.

No im not tyler1 or faker. But i know sure as fuck im not sliver anymore. ive been constantly going back and forth from sliver 5 , 4 , 3. I basically climb to sliver 3 and BOOM i get these bullshit ludicrous matches where suddenly everyone doesn't know what they are doing. ive taken my series idk how many times now and i only dropped because i would lose one match and suddenly the match making system gives me these deplorable inexperienced players over and over it just repeats itself and suddenly im back where i started.

#Oh but what about you ? get good >>????? Like i said im nobody special but when someone goes 0 8 or 0 11 or dies 14 times as twisted fate support or 13 times as zigs support. I am not Charles xavier from xmen im sorry i cannot control these people from my mind. Its YOU and 4 other fucking people that also have an impact on the game.

I also have never seen or heard Riot discuss low elo in general anywhere on the boards. There was this one post where a guys friend was trapped in bronze and he couldn't get out and suddenly he made a new account and lvl'd it to 30 and made plat. NOW that is some bullshit right there. Because if these shitty team mates are that heavy that someone WHO should be plat or gold or whatever cant carry them perhaps the match making needs some adjustments to differentiate these players more. Because that would be a huge problem preventing people to get to where they SHOULD be at. This is about sliver only because i am in sliver and this is what im experiencing honestly.

the same thing happens in every single Elo. Challenger players can find themselves losing a whole bunch of games in a row or winning a whole bunch of games in a row with players that you swear even a bronze player would do better in their place. People have bad games and days in which they just play awful for whatever reason. Some days people will find the best teammates while others the worst of the worst

Its not losing a match that bothers me.. its HOW i lose it. In that high of elo people barely make mistakes when they do , they shrug it off because they are soo high up the ladder already at least in that elo you could actually say GG without feeling salty because even though you lost you KNOW you had good team mates because your challenger and your MMR is ridiculously high. Point is if its a long match and at least my team mates showed confidence because confidence is a huge problem with sliver players like for example Fizz is the enemy he could use all his cool downs and my teammates would STILL back off not realizing hes on CD's and cant do jack shit. If i lose due to my teammates just feeding for no reason then the match feels wastful and not honorable. If its a long well fought on both sides i cant complain much at least it wasn't a one sided feeding clown fiesta.

once again, this happens just the same in high elo matches. People going 0/8/0 in the first 15 mins of the match. People feeding their ass off is not an uncommon occurrence at any elo. People are at certain elos because of skills they haven't developed yet. Some have terrible map awareness, some have a serious lack of judgement, some are pretty much one trick something and nothing else. Yet like i have said before, sometimes people have terrible games or just terrible days in general. You can be challenger and still find people feeding like no tomorrow and still find people getting incredibly pissed at them for doing so. Being higher elo doesn't magically make the sort of things that happen at lower elos disappear

Of course it's b/s. Sounds exactly like he's boosted.

Ah, the ol' entitlement-for-higher-elo-without-reasonable-grounds card again?

You're stuck in a loop you created. I expect you to know how to get yourself out of it.

No there are more people who were very high in the ladder in previous seasons stating the low elo is ridiculous this season and they are having issues climbing. People who made plat and gold bitching about it. So think if its really not so cancerous then barely anybody would complain about climbing at all.

It's not the match maker that is the problem. The real problem with this game is that feeders have a greater impact on the game than any player with a bit of sense and skill can ever hope to have. All I have to do to lose a game is suicide myself into one of the enemy champions 5 times in a row and that practically guarantees a loss BUT if I want a win, I have to ward, farm, trade, roam, split-push and team-fight better than everyone else. That's 6 things and I have to do each one well and it's still no where near a guaranteed win. Any single player can very easily be the reason your team loses but a single player being the reason you win is far far less common.

My proposed solution is very simple. Kill gold needs to be reduced. I'd start at a 50% reduction and if feeders are still having too much of an impact, then try a higher reduction like 75%. I wouldn't rule out removing kill gold entirely if that fails. I really wish Riot will play with this idea. Now you might be thinking this will gut assassins since their whole design is about snowballing off kills. I propose we add a new stat for all champions similar to attack speed or armor growth. It will be a gold generation stat of some kind and champions like Zed and Akali who are not really meant to farm for their gold can have a higher value for this stat so they can still snow ball if they manage it properly but they don't go out of control when you have some asshole that feeds them constantly.

I strongly believe that such a change would make this game truly enjoyable to play since you would now have to rely on your own skill far more than the hope that you don't get feeders. Under such a system when you lose, you'd know it's because you didn't play right instead of your Yasuo mid feeding their Syndra and she 1 shots you before you can do anything about it. This game as it is now is far too reliant on luck.

I think what's most irritating is you get those teammates who know what they are doing or you get those teammates who might as well be level 1 players who literally don't know anything and its completely baffling how they even got Ranked. I am not trying to be mean to anyone, I am being serious, it is absurd how bad they are purely because of mechanics and game knowledge and yet they are in my game on one team or the other.

I either dominate my lane and then transition into other lanes or I don't and we lose... like I seriously need to be 1v3 strong and take an entire lane, inhib and all, by myself. Going even doesn't cut it, playing well doesn't cut it, I need to dominate and carry by myself. That is what my games have come down to.
