HP per level increased from 86 to 89 Base HP lowered from 549 to 499

Nerfing the base HP of an immobile champion whose early game is not among the strongest of his class. Varus also holds the third place in damage received (according to champion.gg anyways) which also ties to him sitting at the bottom when it comes to damage dealt (champion gg again) Good luck surviving lane with Varus now against OP shit like Draven.

I bet this has to do with LCS. If so this probably won't be enough so i guess we can expect more nerfs coming soo. I suppose we should start making room for Varus alongside Azir, Kalista, Ryze etc by the time you are done with him...

In pro scenes hes too op, no counter to his ult. Blames worlds xD

That's the way it goes with changes.

Anything that get's really picked in Pro Play, get's nerfed immediately. I'm just glad that they haven't nerfed our boi too heavily, considering how other champions get gutted easily due to Pro Play (Kalista, Azir and etc...).

so lose 50 base hp and get 3x18=54 hp by lvl 18

so you are getting a net gain of +4 hp by lvl 18
