It does too much damage. I need no evidence because everyone has seen their ADC get 1 shot by tank Garen.

Fun fact: Garen is a huge counter to Ekko. His Q silence and ult are enough to destroy Ekko in a teamfight.

Adc gets one hit by everything in existence right now.

The only thing on garen that needs to be removed is the villain mechanic.

He wouldn’t need a damage buff after it. It’s just a bs mechanic they gave him to pump more damage into the game.

he does shit for damage against non villains. literally most of the fighter pool straight up outtrades him, and most adc would outrace him in damage even in melee.

the only time he is a juggernaut, is when he is fighting the villain.

Spoken like someone who has no idea how Garen works. His damage is absolutely terrible against non villain targets unless it's a squishy (which applies to the damage of literally everyone) and even against squishies it's not that great unless he is fed.

But Garen is also not really a tank. He gets tanky, as in durable, but he’s not a tank tank. He’s a Juggernaut, and they sacrifice reliability in gap closing (minimal dashes) and CC/Utility for sheer damage output. He’s in the same vein as Mundo, Darius, Volibear, Olaf, Nasus, etc.
