Literally nobody is saying that damage is too low. Why don't you just listen to your player base and buff something other than damage?

Remember when they buffed baron then ironically nerfed it (BY HALF) before LCS season started again and never touched it since despite saying "we'll look into baron again".

Which is why they tried to turn the boards into a version of Reddit. They hoped it would become their "official echo chamber." Instead, all it did was make the last few who posted here run off to their Unofficial Echo Chamber. Riot used to be a company that at least tried to look like it cared about the state of the game and tried to be more transparent about aspects of it. I should know, I've been here since Season 1. As the game got older and leadership changed hands over the years, Riot's cared more about pleasing shareholders, TenCent, and surrounding themselves with the constant praise that Reddit showers on them.

It's a sad state of affairs. But they've made all the money so they don't really care anymore.

Serious question Saltran.

Why even use the boards at all? LoL reddit seems much more of a place for you. People come here to complain (mods are less vicious about curbing posts here), whereas LoL reddit seems to harbor many more posts about the esports scene and predictions about competitive, which you seem to enjoy.

Both places have their pros/cons (boards is massive hate circlejerk, reddit's mods are absolute idiots who remove every post except for esports ones), but I would much rather see you there than on here.

Maybe it sounds crazy to you but one of the reasons why I like to be here is to learn english.

And I've realized that if I mix something that I like, hating the Gameplay Boards for example, and the lenguaje that I want to learn it ends up as a good combination.

And cmon, I bet that it's more funny if there's at least some voices that go against the circlejerk than just everyone agreeing on the same topics day and night, and I like it too, when I first came here it was near the end of the Ardent Meta and the front page was filled with threads calling me and the rest of adc mains borderline braindead rightclickers and I found that very funny to be honest.

And, what tells you that I dont use Reddit aswell? I remember doing a thread there calling out the Boards for this post https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/L7p7Gpwq-new-dev-team-vs-old-dev-team that it's still the worst post ever made on the Boards and even Ghostcrawler reddit account answered me, and I told him then that they should rework this dumpster fire called Boards, do a clean up, and with a in client ad or something bring new ppl here. (or something similar)

I still think that, I believe that this place could be great for the game and the community, but right now it's a meme and I want to be here to remind the rest of the members that the Gameplay Boards it's nothing more than bad joke that nobody takes in count, when I read threads claiming that they feel ignored by Riot I just cant agree more with them: they feel ignored because they are ignored, as it should be.

Ah I see. I just never saw you on the lol subreddit, but I guess that's just my memory working against me.

I'm also not that great at English (Korean immigrant living in NA, but I'm currently attending uni and my professors say that I'm getting a lot better. Also my friends say that I should be a lot better at league considering I am from Korea).

I sometimes think that the boards have semi-valid points hidden away beneath all their anger and self righteousness. But I agree, the boards can be filled with toxic apes. Riot's not a perfect company, but I've enjoyed playing this game for about 5-6 years now and I have to thank them for that.

Actually the game takes longer to close than it did in s6 or below. Is also less actione packed than many other seasons because Riot increased the damage and now everyone has to play safe instead of actually trading and there is even less skirmishes around the map. Right now is pretty much "fight and kill or don"t fight at all .

The damage is still high tho. Even Froggen complained about how much gold is in the game atm and Scarra still hates the current state of the game.

Them being low elo has nothing to do with the current shit fest that league has become.

The E-Sports scene is what really made them big. League was fucking huge for years because they hit the nail on the head with their MOBA first. It wasn't really until Fortnite came out that it was topped regularly on Twitch. Don't know how it was on other streaming sites.

Why are you comparing it to Fornite when the history of both games is different? Fortnite got big because of Twitch, but League was already big because of its gameplay. I mean, could you pick a more apples and oranges example?

We can and should have it both ways. WHY? Because Riot them selves hate champs that are good in one scene and bad in another. THEY CHOOSE to balance it for all of us. So his feedback is valid. Also bad people at games aren't a problem in ANY GAME you need them to make the game fun... imagine joining a game and getting matched up with ONLY experienced/good people? Not very fun, I've played a game or two like that.

I think it's fair to say that atleast buffing weak champions damage will be noticeable.

The general state of being tanky and tanky options feel so bad these days that an increase in defensive abilities would feel lack luster. I can be playing a tank with 170+ MR and Armour with ~3000 hp and still get melted stupidly easily. So what would buffs to some defensive stats really do. Probably not much.

tbh as an assassin main I actually do feel that my damage is way too low. Mages and ADCs are bursting about as hard as I am, and I just don't feel any point in picking my most familiar champs anymore, lol.

talon, rengar, diana, blitzcrank(who has the added benefit of being an off-tank), elise, fizz, shaco , vayne (if you build her like one),

they all still do massive amounts of damage

Assassins are supposed to have specific times that they are able to take advantage of an opportunity to pop maybe 1 squishy champ and then dip out. They most certainly have too much damage, because y'all can pretty much one-shot anyone at any time with little to no preparation.

Basically buff up and take your enemy by suprise.

Case and point: Pyke. A "support" who is really an assasin and is basically as broken as release Darius was. A damage item at level 6 and he can one shot just about anyone who isn't a tank, hence why he has one of the highest ban rates in the game.

If you think that, then you've literally got an extra chromosome. Having the damage to 100-0 someone is completely different from actually 100-0-ing someone. If having the damage is all matters, then Karthus should be a 1v5 freelo champ with 100% winrate. Aside from the counterplay built into each assassin's kit, the damage of all assassins are also already gated by macro plays such as grouping the squishies with someone who has summoner 3 , building BS items like item 3026 item 3157 , and rotating better than the assassin to avoid them altogether. That's why assassins aren't just running through two towers to bulldoze an ADC whenever they feel like it. That's also why assassins need more damage--any worthwhile player would do one of those things to deny assassins a full combo on a lone ADC. So, if an assassin can only delete people under the most ideal situations, then they would be absolutely fucking worthless beyond silver or bronze or whatever hellhole you crawled out of. As the game currently is, the kill potential of assassins are gated more than enough, and if you think anything beyond that is necessary, please stop responding to me. You'll just be a waste of my time.
