Make Cleanse get Heal treatment?

No, not the recent nerf. Just 1 second +30% ms speed buff.

You don't want to just slap a MS buff on because its not used - how about something appropriate for cleanse?

Actually removes ALL negative enemy effects (slows, Damage Over Time, stuns, etc - ALL of smite) Grant Tenacity for a short period. (this tenacity would stack with built tenacity)

You would think that the summoners spell would be on par with the cleanse effect that goes into Merc Scimitar, given the higher cooldown. I think this is a good idea, but maybe there is something better out there that differentiates it from merc scimitar. Maybe something more related to mages (as mages don't buy merc scimitar). The trouble would be to find something that would apply to mages but not to ADCs.

If cleanse can cleanse out WW's ult, Zed's ult... like QSS, it'd be rightfully great. That's what cleanse is supposed to be able to do.

Problem is, this would stop those ults from ever being useful. If you're against a malz, you just run cleanse/flash and wreck him in post-6 trades.

But on the other hand, the laning phase is harder for you because you don't heal or barrier. Isn't that an even trade?

I'd say it isn't harder. Up to post-6, sure you're a little more susceptible to ganks. But even if you play ridiculously safe, the ability to completely turn off Malz's/Urgot's/WW's ultimate is just so strong that he can be a kill or two up on you and you'll still roll all over him.
