Regarding the new 10 ban format:

First, let me say, it's very nice to see the transparency and desire for early feedback that used to be a mainstay back in the "good ol' days". It's the type of behaviour that made me a Riot fan, years ago, and it's nice to see that there seems to be a more active interest in doing that again in the last few months instead of insisting Riot is a bunch of infallible gods. So thanks and kudos to you guys at Riot for that.

But I need to voice a gripe with the 10ban format:

You guys voice a concern for "permabans" on champions being a thing with 10 bans.

Let's get some shit straight, right now.

IF A CHAMPION IS PERMABANNED, IT IS BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE GODDAMN CHAMPION.

Period.

Whether it's the design of their kit, the ridiculously unacceptable ratio of "fun to play" vs "fun to play against", or overtuning, there is SOMETHING WRONG WITH ANY CHAMPION WHO REACHES PERMABAN THAT NEEDS ADDRESSED.

Don't give us a weaker, less intuitive, or stupid ban system because you're avoiding fixing your goddamn posterboy champions.

Suck it up, stop playing favorites, and fix the things that people despise about certain champs (you know which ones I'm talking about, don't pretend), and they won't get permabanned. If they're getting permabanned, it's for a reason.

Sure, at the top levels of pro play, there are different needs. That's understandable. But they are not more important than the other 99.9% of your player population.

If a champion is getting permabanned, the champion is the problem, not the damn ban system.

> In all seriousness, I am glad to see we'll finally get 10 bans. I'm just not okay with another major blunder because of the "we know better than you" mentality (flashbacks to DQ, anyone? Or any number of reworks?). Yeah, some champs will get permabanned in a system where you can see opponent bans. So make the champions not feel like fucking garbage to play against, and that won't happen. Don't gimp the ban system because you're scared of what it'll do to your favorite champions, Riot.

The ability to opt out of a ban by using the "No Ban" option is horrible. Also, duplicate bans is trash. Who designed the ban system? The banning will be inconsistent and have RNG elements. Being able to not ban makes each game range from 0-10 bans per match.

Yas is a ticking timebomb, nobody can duel him 30+ mins and he just splitpushes, he can go 0-10 in lane and still solo kill his enemy laner in that time.

Yea it's really dumb and they will one day get rid of it most likely and go back to current system but stupidly there doing this bs first and making us 6+ months of time with a completely retarded banning system.
