Aatrox lore and new cinematic teaser is so badass and suggests that he is a support that leads a side to victory, but for selfish reasons to create more bloodshed in the future by giving them a taste and desire for blood.

So Aatrox as a support goes with his lore absolutely perfectly and there is a lot you can do with him and make his Dark Flight feel like a flight ability rather than a dash, allows him to roam (which works as a jungler as well), and can have elements to help his team to keep on fighting to create more bloodshed! There is just so much potential you can do and make Aatrox so cool and unique by having him as a support champion, plus we get a freaking Darkin as a support! Move over Thresh, there is a new badass support coming to town!

Of course this a wish and not confirmed at all, but damn straight I want new Aatrox to properly be made as a support!
