Ahri vs Zed/Talon Mid

How do i beat Talon Or Zed mid as ahri? Please dont use the zhonya/QSS argument

I understand talon is mostly useless pre 6 and can get easily poked, so its about 60-40 in my favor

What about zed?

Hey! I'm a Zed and Ahri player when I go mid. Little tip, when Zed ults, he goes behind you. Time it well, and you'll always hit your charm. And if you have ult up, you can just kite around his E and Q to avoid most of the damage he'll deal. Talon is more tricky, but a pink may save your ass, good luck on the rift!

Zed with Ahri can be tricky. I have found rushing early boots helps as you can dodge everything but his ult. I then like to get item 3114 so that you can spam your abilities more to harass him with your superior range. Be careful not to push the lane if you do not have jungler support. You can become more aggressive once you build (I know who didn't want this mentioned, but it kind of has to be) Zhonya's Hourglass. this is only mid laner i have never seen do well in a zed macth up. riot is going rework him so that's probly going to change. Malzahar

Zed is not a fun match up. What you want to do against a Zed is bring barrier or exhaust. Exhaust him as he ults you or barrier as his ulti proc's. Then just out trade him with the melee/range match up and just go ham after you get your hour glass. Early items are: Arm-guard, boots. Boots to dodge his Q, and arm guard for the defensive part of the hour glass.

Biggest thing. Do not get poked down in lane. He uses energy very well, and a single full frontal combo can potentially set you up for death in the near future. Always stand behind minions, try and bait the shadow. Never let him Q you without it passing through something first.

I know Zhonyas isnt a fun item for a rush, but it honestly is a great way to shut him down. If not zhonyas, then at least get an armguard. The armor is very nice, still get AP, and youll need it anyways. I'd personally rush zhonyas but not spam spells but if you're one of those mages that can't live without having your spells on cooldown, then I guess Morello's is a fine rush item.

Exhaust is good, charm behind you as soon as he gets out of ult. Also, important. Pay attention to if he uses his shadow to gap close and ult you. If not, you can ult away and probably be fine. If not, he will stick to you and do enough damage to end you unless you've got flash on hand/charm.

Ahri main here. Zed is easier to deal you out range with q and charm also zed has to get close to all in you. Talon is cs machine but still same thing q range is really good against them. Also take advantage when they are low on mana or energy conserver your mana also buy double dorins ring
