Is this lux mid build viable?
+ windspeakers keystone
Your shield is really good.

If you're going mid focus on damage rather than utility, you're team expects and needs you to burst down a target quickly. Forget about building around your shield and let your support focus on keeping your team alive. I would advice dropping windspeaker's for thunderlords's. Maybe a build looking more like this
. Far from perfect, I'd advise looking up better guides. But more AP is generally better.
And for the love of god don't you ever build Dead Man's Plate on Lux again, I couldn't believe my eyes, it's absolutely tragic. Don't think I didn't see that in your match history.

I needed that to survive the fed talon.
There are better options for surviving against assassins.
Personally, I'm partial to the following build if I just want to survive:

The damage is lower than a normal build, but it can be rather frustrating for anyone trying to dive you in a teamfight.
No CDR on Lux?
If I'm laning against an AD assassin (which is the only time I'd use that build), then I have 20% scaling CDR from Glyphs.
You can swap Sorcerer Shoes for Ionian Boots if you want the last 10% CDR. However, the build already sacrifices a decent amount of damage and it would reduce your burst potential.
No... You loose way too much damage. I can consider the Athenes in place of the normal morello if I hard sucked against an AP enemy but that's it, the rest of the build should be focused on your damage not on your shield.. And not taking thunderlord, of which lux is probably the best user , is basically gifting the lane to your enemy . Beside if you want a shield focused midlaner karma can probably do a better work, provided you have an AP damage source somewhere else.
