I feel like people just blame the LCS for everything Riot does wrong.

The same champions see play every game? It's only because Riot wants them in LCS.

Damage Creep growing in League of Legends everyday? That must have been caused by LCS, because everybody knows that more damage = more views.

My cat is gone? Definitely LCS. Nidalee

Why does everyone hate on LCS if something balance related happens? I'm sure sometimes Riot tries to force certain champions into the spotlight, but most of the time a champion is used in the LCS is because a team has recognized the champions strengths and uses it because it's good.

I don't think it's so much as hatred for the LC$ as it is hatred for Riot because of the LC$ specifically. Just take a look at the recent changes with "tower first blood" and the cannon minion wave spawn rates. They made some questionable changes to the game for 99.9% of the player base just because the first few minutes of most LC$ games were boring.

People in this thread could probably list off entire pages worth of changes made in this way. These changes are made while disregarding the needs and wants of non-competitive players solely for the purpose of enhancing professional play, even if it means hindering non-competitive play. Remember how they added Rift Herald at the beginning of this season to balance out objective priority on both sides of the map? LC$. Remember how hard games would snowball at the beginning of the season because they gutted turrets? LC$. Remember how they recently nerfed Azir (who was sitting at about a 48% win rate)? LC$. I could go on but you probably get the point by now.

I understand that, I hate a lot of their choices too. People just seem to be blaming it on LCS.

It's literally like the new "Thanks Obama." But in League.

I suggest calling it by its true name - LC$

Because when they see pro's constantly picking/banning, its a red flag for them. Honestly, if LCS didn't exist, a lot of issues between Riot and the player base would be a lot different.

Um because riot bases alot of there changes off LCS... they nerfed kalista and are now nerfing azir to the ground due to lcs nothing more. Now nid is getting changed because pros in lcs could abuse her auto attack between forms very well..

ppl complain about this because 99% of us are not lcs players and are no where near that good. So a lot of ppl (myself included) think that this is what is ruining the game. You dont balence around the 1% you baleance around every one else. Riot has largly ignored the majority of player base, in favor of LCs big play's. While that makes it great for watching the pro's play it also makes for an unfun experience for the majority of actual players.
