PSA: You still should pay attention to the map if you're dead

A lot of times, I've noticed that if a laner dies, they often times just don't pay any more attention to the lane and just open the shop, alt-tab out, or look at their phone/other device until they're back up. If you're dead, at least pay attention to what your enemy laner is doing until you know where they're headed or what they're doing. Be warned that this usually takes a little while to figure out, because most people farm at least a wave or two before backing/roaming/dancing/whatever they do. Don't immediately check out of the game because you're dead, because more of your team could join you in the Black Screen Inn if you don't warn them of impending danger from your laner.

If you want to take it a step further, you could become a vision-only teammate and scan all around the map, warning your allies about literally anything that could harm them. You don't have any actions to worry about while dead, so paying attention to the map and looking all around it for danger could save an ally's life.

Unless your allies are aware of the map, then it is just annoying.

It should never be annoying to be warned of danger. Even if you already know, you should be glad you arent' the only person paying attention

Have you never clearly seen someone coming, and then someone feels the need to spam BE CAREFUL 5 times, resulting in you getting distracted, missing your SS and then dieing. Then their response is, I warned you. They are by far the most annoying people in Leauge of Legends to me. Because you cant mute them, they can still ping no matter what. Sure you may be thinking, well that's your fault you got distracted and died. Well maybe it is, but it is also your fault that you aren't good enough to have good map awareness and play.

No, because a lot of people in this game tunnel vision. Pinging helps people take their eyes off of whatever their focusing on and take a peek at the map.

If you obviously see someone coming, then someone pinging you shouldn't have any affect on what happens. You chose to ignore the impending danger and you deserve what you got. So yeah, like you said, it is your fault you're not good enough to have good map awareness and play. You getting distracted is also your fault. Deal with your issues and fix 'em.

But my issue is other people and when I ask them to please stop, they always just do it more. Honestly they need to have a way to mute peoples pings, because most of the time Pings are the reason I die.
