So, I just played Shen support for the first time...

I saw Shen had a really high win rate playing support at Worlds. So, being a support main, I decided to get him and try him out.

All I have to say is that ANYONE who thinks he isn't OP right now is in complete denial. I got a S ranking first game with him and I have NEVER played him before. I was #2 in kills on my team even though I built straight tank. Plus I racked up 29 assists on top of that while going against a Morgana who is supposed to be one of his hardest counters as a support.

Shen support had started popping up a few times even before Worlds. He fits fine into the category of "Tanky melee CC support" similar to Braum/Leona/etc. Shen has even better sustain via Q, good harassment mitigation with his shield and has hard CC. Boom. And the fact that he is energy vs mana gives him good lane presence.

Yeah, the energy alone is amazing. You never have to leave lane unless you want to buy.

Considering how his Q allows the carry to heal off of hitting a target, yes he does make a great support.

But no seriously, Koreans are dangerous people, don't underestimate their reaction skills even if they've never played a MoBA before. Anyway, how did he get to level 5 if he never played before, did he seriously hire an ELO booster to get him to level 5? #SKTRepresentsAllAsians

That being said, Shen support is awesome, and he's great in jungle, top, just like Rammus (Rammus supp is awesome, don't pretend he's not, good luck dying in bot lane without their ADC calling their Nami support a KSing noob)
