Why doesn't cc stop Wukong's ult?

I was playing against a Wukong last night. He jumps into my team and ults, so I hit him with an Amumu 'q', and despite this his ult just keeps going. Please don't tell me this is intended?

It is intended, CC only stops channels. It doesn't stop skills that have already started unless it is an extremely specific circumstance like Ryze's ult.

so does Swain Brand Syndra Fiddlesticks Gangplank Lissandra Taric Trundle Vladimir plus a fuck ton more champs who have abilities/ults that persist even when CCed lol
