My normal MMR is stuck. 150 CS in 20 minutes is my limit

Hallbuster··1 votes·827 views

There are 20 more wins than losses, but it's not going any higher. I need help. And how do I get more than 150 cs in 20 minutes?

Cs doesnt affect how you climb, how you play affects how you climb.

Tbh if you're consistently just aiming to get good cs, you're probably not helping your team. You main Annie. She's easy to cs with. Just clear the wave and roam whenever you have Tibbers up and instakill enemy botlane. ALWAYS roam as a midlaner. Your main priority isn't to farm. It's to roam and snowball

Having good cs certainly helps, but killing the enemy is your main priority. Just keep trying to make plays (flash tibbers multiple people) and you can climb considering you have the cs part down.

Once outer turrets are gone, GROUP. Don't keep farming. Shove the lane and go to your team

I stopped playing Annie but I'll remember what you said.

Just group is the answer. Your kill participation is somewhat low.

I know bronze isn't exactly the best elo to have team mates that group, but just spam pings in midlane and maybe they'll listen lmao

In midgame, shove whatever lane you're in and go with your team. Even if they don't come to you, go to them. You can't do anything without a team

Cs isn't the only thing needed to climb. Are you warding enough? Do you know how to pressure a lead? Do you know how to tell when you have a lead you can pressure? Do you group around objectives? Do you understand when to push towers? There's so much more into climbing that just farming well, although the fact that oh consistently get 150 cs in 20 minutes is a great start towards making that happen. Now you need to build on that foundation and continue to grow as a player.

Farm better. Manage wave's better. Cs other lanes when you're in them, then go cs yours. Farm your jg. Farm your enemies jg.

Farm better.

Your not "stuck" You are improving, every game you win you get higher mmr When you lose, your mmr goes down. If you are starting to win more games, you will be put up against better players.

( It's not always about win or lose but it does help. ) If you want higher mmr you should probably:

  • Farm Better
  • Die Less
  • Kill More
  • Assist More
  • More Dragons, Heralds, Barons Maybe warding more helps too, I wouldn't know but just WARD as much as you can anyway since it's an impotant thing in the game

I don't know excactly how mmr works, no one does. The formula never got released and will most likely never get released for a couple reasons

As for your Farm. 150 CS. That's not bad, I would even say it's pretty good. If I take a random MSI game, let's say Gigabyte Marines vs TSM I pause it arround 20 minutes. The one with the highest farm is Ahri with 206. The 2 adc's have 145 and 165.

Those games are most of the time very slow paces, and don't really have as much action as Solo Q They are extremely good getting every CS they can get to. And in these games, they will focus on farm in lane.

And I think you are playing Solo Q so your jungler is doing some random stuff and needs your help so you have to roam, they will engage on you more or you will engage on them. in that time, you don't have time to cs and much gets lost. It's called Solo / Duo Q, Whatever you might play. You won't get 210 Cs @ 20 Minutes in, trust me

But if you really want to maximize your farm, learn to:

  • how to control your wave.
  • When can you back to base?
  • Should you farm jungle
  • When should I make a trade and how? ( That's extremely important for cs, a lot of people don't know that )
  • Not die, any death timer are seconds or minutes away from your farm

( Don't farm your junglers jungle pre 20, that's a selfish move and gives your jungler a shitty time ) Try to farm your enemies jungle if you really don't have anything to do and you know that it is SAFE!

You are already doing pretty well right now, but if you master all these things, you will see the improvement in cs @20

Already watching scrap computer videos.

Forgot to add, in normals I have 757 Wins and 713 Wins now. I used to have -20 wins Then I got even, I was happy to see that. Then I circled arround +20 Wins and now It's slowly building up. I'm getting placed in matches with better players and I try my very best to get on the same level as them and overcome them, you should try that either

As for Lane control and csing better, I believe Scrap Computer made a video about that, Maybe Dong huap did too, I don't know. Google it if you are interested in learned that stuff

how well you climb depends on how well you can 1v9. I assume you are one of those mid laners who just sits lane all game without being the proactive roamer. If you're this focused on cs (which yes, is important) you're probably a sitting duck in lane when theres multiple opportunities to roam. A good annie shoves her lane and roams like crazy without falling behind in cs. In all elos up to diamond, a lot of people are relatively blind so if you can keep roaming after pushing your wave youre bound to find success. Also, in bronze, there are multiple opportunities to kill your own lane out of sheer ignorance from your opposing laner as to how much damage you can put out.

Who cares? Norms aren't competitive.

Also, 150 cs is fine.

FieryNox1 votes

I smurfed riven to diamond, and I nvr got more than 150 cs any whole game. And I actually usually fed lane. Cs doesn't really matter that much. Unless you're split push top laner or adc. If you know how to play properly you can just own team fights.
