1st dragon buff

I miss the late game damage cap of old. I find there's too much power late game. When you add a buff of this nature it throws all values off kilter. Defenses were designed to deal with DMG that were 6% less. And balanced as such. The 1st buff effected this balance significantly imo.

It could work if it was spread out evenly, like 3% dps & 3% resistances. For the first buff.

Whereas dragon giving gold didn't have this effect late game when both teams were full items.

That's the point of the dragon buff , to give an advantage over the other team. Also, I'd like to point out it is only the first buff so it is not hard to receive. Some may say that if you get the fist buff you will snowball all the following dragons as well but like you pointed out it effects the late game more so then the early game where the 6% buff is hardly that big of an advantage until you start getting your core AD / AP items. All in all it evens out when both teams get it which will most likely happen every game since it is the first dragon buff.

I'm not asking to remove the advantage I'm saying this advantage should be such that it doesnt throw the balance off. It makes a difference imo. If you think it doesn't then would you be okay with Let's say having it so the first buff gives ** -**6% Ad/AP. its the same principle. All in all it still evens out when both team get it. I think however that you would feel the difference.

Idk I find riot is overlooking a lot of the implications their changes have. When they removed the gold on dragon did they create any form of compensation for gold? Doesn't have to be much, just a bit spread out elsewhere to keep pace of game fun early game in particular. I find getting core items is a drag dirst 25 minutes.

I get that they might have wanted to reduced overall income, however no find half of dragon's gold would have been sufficient. So remove all the gold from drag and transfer say half on average a team would get from dragon and distribute it elsewhere. Maybe even have early game gold a bit faster rate that decelerates from 1minute to 10 minutes slightly faster gold. 10 to 20minute it decelerates. Such that by 20 mins we'd all get about 200 extra gold total.
That's the sort of thing that could help keep implications in check. I'd propose, 1st dragons gives gold, 3rd dragon gives ( 2% ad&ap,2%armor&Mr and 2% movement speed. )
