PSA: If you for some reason think you can win a lost game

And can think of no real ( real as in diamond players playing at a minimum of plat level, not fucking bronze 1000 ) way to win, just hit fucking yes on the surrender vote

Just got out of a game where we got 2 of theirs tower while they killed all three of our inhibs and had baron simultaneously. "I think we can still win" How? 5 enemies dc? Because if even a single one of them went mid we wouldn't have been able to stop 6 baron buffed super minions per wave. Please just learn to ff before I have to get banned for afking again

There's nothing wrong with not wanting to FF. You can learn something from playing a game even if you're on the losing side. Also personally I almost never vote yes in a ranked game which has been quite helpful into getting a Diamond ranking.

With that attitude I'm surprised you even managed to do that much.

How about if you're gonna lose in 30 seconds anyways, don't forfeit and lose like a man.

We were already hella behind at 20. We could've cut the time it took to lose by 40%.

If it's a ranked game, I'm going to play it out.

You lose 100% of the games you surrender, but the enemy team can always throw if you play it out. Even if it isn't likely, it still happens enough that it is worth finishing the game if you want to climb in rank.

This is especially true if it is late-game. At that point, all you need to do is win one teamfight with enough people still alive to rush down their base. I have had games in which we pushed down all structures in a lane, the nexus turrets, and the nexus off of a single teamfight when we were losing beforehand.

once again im talking about people who are actually good and don't throw like trash and also know how to close out a game.

I have a freinds who not only in a challenger 5s team he's also high master tier solo q.

He sees throws ALL THE TIME.

I'm in Platinum and throws happen all the time. I play with Diamond players regularly and they still happen.

What constitutes as a throw depends on your level of play, but they are always there.

Mistakes happen.

You're assuming that a decision to not surrender is purely based on thinking you might able to win.

I've had several instances where I can only play one game before I have to do something else, because there isn't enough time to start another game. In these situations I'm even less likely to surrender because I like playing a game better than not playing a game.

Well that's your opinion, and here's mine. I'd rather not be playing at all than be getting shitstomped.

Can you get banned for afking? Because if so I'm even closer to losing this account than I thought.

Joe Dredd2 votes

yes. but for some reason dragging out games for no reason isn't.

A reason with which you disagree is not "no reason".

I'll just keep playing Dominion, where surrendering basically never happens because snowballing doesn't exist.

I prefer to FF so the enemy can't spam emotes on our platform. Instead, if we are there we get to spam them.
