does luden's echo work on Gp's q?
just wondering...
just wondering...
Yes it works on his Q. Ignore these ignorant fools.
Lich bane procs on Q, Lichbane requires a spell use to proc, so therefore GP Q is a spell.
Boom logic. Can't argue that now. But I bet they will try.
edit - o fuck it doesn't what in the actual fuck
bet riot will try, and they did

The game's programming doesn't care about logic. :(
GP's Q is flagged to trigger "on-hit" effects which includes the bonus damage from sheen and items that build from it.
There's also a flag for crit. GP's Q has this flag but MF's Q and Ez Q do not, even though they have the "on-hit" flag.
The bonus damage from sheen items is applied after activating an ability unless the ability is flagged not to (for example, toggle abilities like Ashe Q are flagged not to) this isn't the same flag used for spell vamp/rylai's or other "spell hit" effects. So sheen items including lich bane have nothing to do with spell hits. They have to do with ability activations.
There is another flag for spell hit effects. This flag has some subflags that are used for things like Spell Vamp, Rylai's, Furor Enchantment, Liandry's, etc... GP's Q does not have this flag. Luden's Echo uses this flag so GP's Q does not trigger it.
There's a main flag for spell hits. If only this flag is on, you get 35% Rylai's, 100% Spell Vamp, Furor enchantment, Liandry's, and Luden's. There's a sub flag that marks it as AoE. This reduces Rylai's to 15%, Spell Vamp to 33%, and disables Furor. There's another sub flag that marks it as DoT. This reduces Rylai's to 15% and disables Furor but leaves Spell Vamp at 100%. So regardless of which type of spell hit flag, you always get Liandry's and Luden's, but many abilities don't have any kind of spell hit flag. The most notable ones are GP Q, Ez Q, and MF Q which don't have it.
saying the programming doesn't care about logic and listing the programmed logic for on-hit and co...ok programming is pure logic, but logic in a mathematical sense, not a rational.(and even from a rational point, why should GPs Q, which prettymuch is nothing more than a ranged AA with x boonus ad, proc spell-effeckts?)
No. His Q registers as an on-hit. Luden's only procs on spell-hits. Basically, ask yourself: can his Q proc Liandry's/Rylai's/spellvamp?
This.
... but it is a spell.
The tool tip should be more clear.
does damage on spell hit except for GP cuz fuck him.
GP's parlay is considered an auto attack (it can crit).
I am almost 100 percent sure it does not becuase i just used it on ezreal and it didnt proc with his q makes me want 2 wreck riot right now
No GP's Q does not count as a spell, but Jax's 3rd auto and W does. I guess it logically doesn't make sense and it isn't documented anywhere, but it is an interesting interaction that allows Jax to use Gunblade and Rageblade. Hopefully Riot will provide tooltip clarity at least for these abilities such as (DOES APPLY SPELL EFFECTS)(DOES APPLY ON-HIT EFFECTS). It is kind of awkward having to find out what applies what when you don't feel like just doing the recommeded build for simplicity.
