Seriously? Do you like not look at your map? Do you need me to tell you that the enemy jungler is alive and when dragon respawns too?

Generally, a lot of people don't have the divided attention to be constantly looking at the map while simultaneously managing Minion HP and avoiding death from their lane opponents, so MIA pings do help immensely.

I was thinking this the other day too, but it is definitely a good habit to get into.

I'm more frequently a jungler than a laner, so when I was playing mid lane as Heimerdinger I didn't really even think about telling bot lane when Ahri was missing. I figured I was stomping her in my lane, so why should it matter.

Turns out it did matter because allowing her to roam bot gave her a double kill, bringing her back into the game.

Mostly, people mostly use the enemy missing ping after you didn't help them when they facechecked a brush with five people. You should be using that ping to tell people that players have disappeared out of vision because not everybody has perfect map awareness. It seriously helps a lot.
