I hope we see more tank item adjustments

I'm very skeptical about some of these changes, like the swap from Abyssal and Banshee's. I think Abyssal's change to HP with the magic amp still there will be huge for Mordekaiser, but Banshee's being an 8 second spell shield late game is ALSO extremely good. What a conundrum.

But I'm really hoping we see updates to trap items like Thornmail and Ohmwrecker to put them in a strong state while being fair. This is the perfect opportunity to bring them up to par

Thornmail shouldnt get any changes. It is a niche item and needs to stay that way due to how it works. Ohmwrecker on the other hand should be buffed. LEt it turn an enemy's tower friendly for 2-3 seconds. That would be an interesting mechanic

it's a terrible item that only gets used by the armor stackers

and it's dog shit by design so I can understand why riot keeps it bad

It's a niche item thats good vs Full Ad comps and bad when the enemy has balanced damage or Mostly AP. It fills its role

Interesting. Except by the time you finish it, turret will mostly just tickle unless they stay there the full 3 seconds alone.

They're not adressing Thornmail yet because they couldn't a good change for it. So they're keeping it as a shit item untill they do, it will just be adressed in a patch when they do.

there are 2 simple solutions to it, i don't know what's so hard

either make it an active like blademail from dota or make it a trigger like Sterak's where it pops and it becomes extremely dangerous to keep hitting you

both cases let it be strong and give it windows of power

If it's a simple Solution, Riot probably does not like that solution. Because if it's simple, they probably have looked at it before.

I really like the Steraks-like thingy tho. And what does Blademail do?

Blademail active gives you 4.5 seconds of returning 100% of physical damage taken to attackers but doesn't passively give return damage like thornmail

Not that the return damage needs to be that high in League of course
