i feel like hes a pretty fair champion to play against, you just didn't realize how heavy his early game damage was. So many times i've gotten first blood cause they eat a w then i can go in with my q-aa and do like 45% of their hp, they could of avoided (as they do after they realize the initial burst) it but it was just plan ignorance on their part

I Stealth I1 votesNot really, considering that he has more counterplay nowadays. He needs to be closer to you to get a good combo off and if you're a mage that has hard CC, e.g Ryze, Lux, Morgana etc., you can punish him for being caught out.

if you know the w is going to hit (as the talon player) then they really can't get out of say a flash or dash.
why? because i will q in as it dashes forward, when you close the gap with his q up, the cone becomes smaller and thus will return to you faster. plenty of time to react if you don't q in on someone but if you do then its a guaranteed hit.

It might be dodgeable but how dodgeable, almost undodgeable unless you have a dash in which case you could mitigate some of the damage or unless the talon player misses.

This. Also people legitimately don't know how to play around the W in the first place. W is Talon's first maxed ability with a flat 9s cd before cdr. You should be constantly looking to bait his W or put yourself in a position where you can AT LEAST dodge half of the spell, whether the initial throw or the return. Play around his W like you would play around Zed's shadow.
If you are getting hit with both rakes and are still in rage of his Q, even with his abysmal 335 base ms, then you deserve every fucking death you get for being a brainless fucking potato. Respect the Talon. Capitalize on his CDs. Fuck with his passive stacks. Win lane. It's really as fucking easy as that. After you cuck him in lane, predict his roams by warding roam paths, shove into his tower, and force him to miss a ton of CS.
This isn't fucking rocket science people. Instead of QQ-ing in threads about how you played Lux or Annie and stood still and ate his rakes and proceeded to be all-in'd at level 2, go be productive and play some Talon in a custom or practice tool and get a feel for the champion. You will know what to do next time you face him.
