Why are ADCs playing the assassin role in games?

It's been a very long time since the last I've seen ADCs kill their opponents like assassins, but when they did it was with . At least it kind of made sense

Twitch boosted with shouldn't give him the potential to shred through entire teams like a 20/0 zed. It's insane. Riot I have no idea how you went to the same exact meta with different items. That's honestly very disappointing when last season you guys pushed to avoid ADCs assassinating and 1-shotting other roles by changing the items, then go back to the near exact meta with different items. You have to be kidding me...

Twitch KogMaw Tristana all fit this criteria . It isn't just one champion.

Kog'maw doesn't have burst though. All those champions you listed are item 3504 abusers.

if they can outdamange a burst champion with their dps it's the same,thought some of them are too safe for the damage that they deal

Only Tristana Caitlyn Ezreal are safe ADC's. Xayah Kalista too maybe.

The thing is, supports make ADC's way too safe. and that's the problem.

kog and tristana are very telegraphed. Twitch has a stealth so I count him as an assassin, but kog has 0 burst and both kog and tristana are pretty obvious.

They still can out-damage and shred through teams by sheer dps alone.

For some reason riot nerfed almost every champ's burst damage so now adc is the strongest at it. I doubt riot will nerf adc hard enough for them not to function as assassins.
