Quit asking me to tank for the team if you suck at being the damage dealer

This is my main pet peeve of league of legends. When you're in your promos and your top lane GP asks "can you please pick a tank?" as they proceed to feed the whole game and deal no damage. Stop asking me to tank if you have a 13% winrate on GP and suck at top lane carries. This goes for every role as well, if you are new to the carry role don't ask me to pick a tank because I won't. I will pick a carry because we all know you don't know what you are doing.

Alternatively, when I do pick a "tanky" champion (Singed one trick) my teammates will scream and cry when they die about how I'm not tanking hard enough. I think a lot of ad carry/mid mains underestimate how fast I will blow up if I get stunned.

The only tanks that can run around full retard in the enemy team and not die are poppy and maokai...

Though imo is shouldn't be nearly as fast as those squishies.

Of course. The problem is, however, as of the current moment, the difference between a Draven's survivability and Singed's survivability is .25 seconds. It's ridiculous how much damage currently exists from EVERY kind of champion.

Yeah noticed that today. Picked nautilus, wasn't even behind, actually ahead of their gragas. Sunfire, tabis and half of spirit visage in around 20mins and got blown up in 2 secs. Not even combined fire just a few hits here and there.

I've also encountered this, yet if you tank to their satisfaction, you always die for nothing since the people screaming for tanks are almost always the shittiest players since they put more effort into dictating what other play instead of improving themselves. (When was the last time you saw anyone screaming for a tank in a masters/challenger game?) Thus all you end up doing is giving your opponents a free ace.

Carry wannabe crybabies should stfu and mind their own picks, if they want a classic team comp that badly they are free to pick a tank.

Never go tank, if you really are better than your teammates pick a hyper carry no matter what your team comp. Its how I got to Gold 1 this season, and how I'm going to get to Platinum.

Don't believe him. Never pick a tank ever below dia 3. Trust me. Gold 1 is all sunshine. Plat is where elo hell starts and you are confronted with a mix of silver and diamond players. You WILL need to hardcarry 1v9 or be hardstuck forever. Also never swap roles with anyone. Atleast not your mainroles. If you need something tanky pick renek, darius, jax, irelia. Carry potential on top of tankyness.

That's perfectly fine. However, don't be surprised to see the carries dying easily if they've got nothing to peel for them. If you're gonna take the carry role from somebody else, you better do it better than they could.

Also don't be surprised if you suddenly can't win team fights because you have no front line.

I won't mind because I will know how to position. If I lose because we keep getting blown up I will take full responsibility for not positioning correctly but in general I know what I am doing.

You're forgetting the basic rules of communication.

Always the jungler's fault.

Blame the support.

BM improves moral.

Pings should be spammed whenever possible.

Always type in the middle of a fight.

Allies need you to tell them how to play.

Allies have nothing worth listening to / reading. 8. Your team is trolling you intentionally. 8.5. People always know when you're in your promos.

/all chat is the best place to complain and discuss strategy.

The other team will report allies for anything on request. No reasons necessary.

The worst players should be choosing tanks, and there isn't an excuse not to. A single mistake, a squishy carry dies. Several mistakes, and a tank is probably going to be fine.

No it's not. A GP feeding is one of two things: -Trash player who should uninstall immediately -Getting camped And even feeding and getting camped wouldnt be too bad on GP if your jungler would atleast take drk, snowball midand bot. Instead he jerks it off in his jungle "powerfarming" and waiting in a bush for 10 mins for the enemy jungler to come not noticing he sits at top anyways.

Actually agree with 100% what you said, top laner here, and don't get me wrong I love playing tanks, when I have a good team. But in solo q especially low ranks, it's so disgustingly bad, only tanks that are worth playing in solo q is probably malphite and galio as specific comp counters, because of their high base dmg for tanks.

I feel like this is probably my biggest pet peeve in low elos across all games. Unskilled players who aren't really capable of DPSing because of poor mechanics or just general bad play. Often times they'll blame tanks for 'no peel' to justify their poor positioning, and all in all they're incredibly frustrating to play with.

Thing is, if they'd just play champs and roles appropriate to their skill level, they would win a lot more games, and by extension climb. I'm about silver-gold at dps in overwatch, but I main Reignhardt and Lucio and sit comfortably in masters. Comparable, I think if a lot of LoL players started picking up champions like Leona, Maokai, Naut, and other simple tanks and supportive characters, I think they'd climb rapidly.

If you want to be a dps player, you need to dedicate yourself and learn the role, otherwise you're dead weight. If your tank has a higher damage output and higher eliminations, you may as well not exist in the game. It's super funny when a dps player with no damage and less elims than a tank blames a tank for a loss.

i usually pick a tanky champ if our comp needs one but if the carries aren't doing well i would usually go bruiser so that i can still survive a bit longer but make up for their lack of damage
