Why is Lucian so sh*t right now?

He seems to be the only adc who's actually struggling in this meta, but I'm not really sure why. Has he simply been nerfed too much?

I wouldn't say he's "so shit" , he's a very solid midlane pick at the moment.

But the meta heavily favors lategame ADCs who can really abuse Ardent Censer, which Lucian isn't.

uh, no.

If something gets picked at worlds, and gets dumpstered, that doesnt mean its "good" by proxy. It is clear people learned it was a shit gimmick and it doesnt actually work.

Considering he is sitting at a 50% win rate at plat+, not a fair comparison remotely.

Also, tank vs. ADC/midlane. Hell keep getting picked regardless of his win rate because he is one of the only decent tanks top right now.

It shows that looking at winrate solely is not a valid way to determine how good a champion is.

You dont need to go just by win rate.

You can look at P+B as well, and Lucian is way down there. Lucian is NOT good right now, and I wouldnt be surprised to see him stop being picked at all for the rest of Worlds.

Which goes back the my original point. If he wasn't good, he wouldn't have been picked or banned at all in Worlds.

So, because Zilean was played once he is good? How about Sona? Soraka? Rengar? Olaf? Nidalee?

All of them played at Worlds.

That doesnt mean they are good right now

Lucian hasn't been played just once. He's been picked 5 times and banned 11 times. If any of those champions came anywhere close to Lucians 30% P/B rate, maybe you'd have a point.

Alistar, higher P+B, lower win rate. Is he a good champion or a shit champion?

The difference is that in regular ranked play, he actually has a decent win rate. Unlike Lucian is shit tier in both Ranked, and pro play right now.

He isn't an ardent censor champion. Lucian has 6 items at end end game, the enemy has nearly 7

he's kind of the ryze of adcs. If he is strong enough that he has an above average win rate in normal draft, he is probably dominating the pro scene. Plus he's not even that bad rn
