I need to peel because it's a team game. Just like how I need the ADC to survive so they take towers quickly.

This isn't call of duty or a single player game.

You need to peel because an ADC is literally a glass cannon by design.

The support is the banana peel covering said cannon.

See, the peel protects the cannon from shattering, and the peel is also slippery, so when the enemy tries to grab the cannon they lose their grip because of the peel, and so they lose their grip on the banana peel and by extension the cannon.

Sounds like your positioning sucks. The only one of those that has a real shot of reaching you without flashing if you position well is Talon and given how popular shield stacking is he should be a non-issue.

All Im saying is that a 5-0 from any other lane can solo kill any ADC with zero help.

You are talking about positioning. You should not be able to face tank those champions, you should be fighting them from a distance and positioning behind your teammates. If you are caught out you deserve to die if you can't kite or dodge the skillshots.
