Also poro king has only been in the game mode 8 times, this will make 9th. It's also better than either of those stale "pick the same handful of champs" modes. People just love bitching about shit Riots already addressed a thousand times.

Edit: hey notice how it said "either of those stale modes" that means specifically URF and OFa where riot THEMSELVEs even said everyone only picked and banned the same champs. We dont have URF back, we have ARURF back, the OFa is whats not in the client due to again riots own words "issues getting it set up in the LCU"

and lastly, those wiki pages being linked? Yeah thats counting the times like in 2013/14 when poro king or ascension would be out for a month, then go away forever. the wiki counts ALL those times, too. Sorry that memory wasnt perfect, but uhhh the point was that in between every poro andascension, sometimes twice in a row, there is a game mode NOT lotpk or ascension. so why does everyone only THINK they come up every other weekend? ENTIRE PATCHES ARE DONE WITH NETIEHR OF THESE MODES OUT! Are they the MOST seen? yeah they are easy, simple, and fun. sorry to burst y'all bubbles but if they WERENT played a lot on the weekends they are out, then Riot would shelve them like your oh so precious ARURF.

PS - Friendly reminder a Star Guardian Skybox was on the PBE last patch and then removed, and it's 50/50 it's for either Reskinning the Rift or for a new game mode. So if Riot gets you a 3rd brand new never seen before game mode will everyone stop bitching then? ~~ofc not~~

Tell me, whats the Meta for poro king? Whats the meta for ascension? whats the reason you linked a wiki that counts the 2-3 times each that each of those modes came out BEFORE rotating game modes was a thing? (check their personal game wikis mister thinks he can link anything and be right)

How about you check your own posts for said shit you "tool" (whatever that even means) when Riot themselves has to make URF an all random mode, i'm pretty sure THAT makes it stale meta. never needed and ARLOTPK mode. Why not count those times? Those are still times they were live, yes? If not counting those it also lowers the amount of times URF has been up so I don't see your point here.

As for the metas if you don't know them you really have no knowledge of any of these game modes and shouldn't be talking but I'll go over them with you so you know for the future.

Ascension: Zed, Shaco, Maokai now with the recent changes, Sona, Teemo etc Poro King: Sona, Ziggs, Maokai, Teemo, Jhin etc

A lot of the same champions that people say are oppressive in URF actually. And if you want people to "keep it civil" you should probably start your own post off that way instead of making it a giant rage rant spewing your own opinion at people and deeming it fact.

The Rotating Game Mode Queue was toted as the mode where all your modes would make a comeback so you could play them on the weekend and not have to wait an entire year for them to come out. There was never any distinction made between "this is for the RGMQ" and "this mode isn't in the rotation cause we just put it in when we want".

But the only things that are in regular rotation are Ascension, and Poro King. Poro King alone is up for more weekends than almost all the other game modes combined (except ascension).

i'm still waiting for riot to simply implement a vote system for the upcoming game modes

simply run all the game modes, eliminate choices after they've been played until list runs dry then restart list, modes still rotate, all modes are played, community ~~feels~~ like they have some sort of choice in the rotations at least and riot can collect the data from the voting to see which modes are the most requested and also see if they actually are the most played or just most requested so players can spam their favorite game modes in an attempt to make "their" mode the most popular

Any mode is better than URF. How anyone can find playing a match where there's Zed, Mundo, Blitz, Leona, and Annie every match as fun is beyond me. At least Ascension is interesting and actually entertaining.

Give me old Sej over any of those any day. People who complain about the picks in URF greatly exaggerate how few champs there were. Were there a few that were more OP than others? Yeah, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fun to try and come up with something unexpected to beat them and good deal of the champ pool was good if you knew how to play them. Don't like it don't play it. Just like I don't play Dominion, Blood Moon, Poro King, Def Not Dominion, Ascension, and ANY of the other modes (other than maybe Doombots, that ones ok if you enjoy a crazy challenge). I wouldn't complain and say it take someone's favorite of those out the rotation just because I want URF, but that's what people like you do for URF, so don't expect us not to hate your rotten guts for being a selfish prick.

twisted fate, urgot, brand, Ahri , Anivia , Bard , Evelynn , Fiddlesticks , Gangplank , Heimerdinger , Illaoi , Karthus , KogMaw , Karma , Kassadin (though a bit more of a rarity, but anyone good at him could totally wreck people), Katarina , Lux , Malzahar , Malphite , Maokai , MasterYi , MissFortune , Morgana , Nami , Nidalee , Orianna , Ryze , Shaco , Sona , Swain , Syndra , Teemo , Varus , Veigar , Velkoz , Viktor , Vladimir , Xerath , Zac , Zilean

all of those were meta, and that's not including any ATTACK SPEED focused champion and almost any champion could be viable in urf, varying by their range capabilities but nothing was non-viable unless it was just completely outdated(like warwick for instance). If anything, some received boosts that players did not capitalize on at all, such as the ability to spam in jungle and then crush a lane opponent to take a tower

Because of issues with implementing them in the new client. Look, I think it's bullshit that its taken them this long just to get those modes working with the new client (And they still haven't) but its not because they aren't "favored" by Riot or anything.

Well.... my question is why is "hexakill" taking forever to implement?

we have 3 v 3 twisted treeline up, their might be more work than meets they eye, and I have no clue on how to do it, but it shouldn't be that hard to add 3 more people to each team. (should be easier than making a brand new game mode (dark star thresh mode))

The last time they had URF was May 2016. The last time we had One-For-All was in September/October 2016.

It's basically Ascension, Poro King and Nexus Siege every two weeks.

People do enjoy playing Poro King. I enjoy playing Poro King occasionally. we're all just really fucking tired of it. If you want an example of a mode that was never fun at all just look at All Random Summoners Rift and all the hate threads that spawned.
