Thoughts On Aatrox?

Played him a few times and judging from what I've read, I expected to have a really bad time. Thus far, he really hasn't underperformed that badly. No he's not tier 1, but I didn't feel like I was really at that much of a disadvantage, and he is pretty fun to play.

I'd say the worst thing about him is that he has EXTREMELY low carry potential and pretty poor teamfighting. He either feels like he has very little damage and is slightly fragile or is a sheet of glass with massive damage output. Thoughts on him? What do you build?

I find him to just be a ball of stats. He doesn't have much for play making potential and do if your ahead you are fine if you are behind you can't make a play to catch up or help your team with utility

Worst champion in the game.

His kit is a banal stat-check without the ability to make interesting plays.

His visuals are more or less generic demon guy.

His story reads like something a 13 year old came up with during lunch recess.

And the name 'Darkin' is absolutely vomit-inducing.

Hes pretty good, I generally play Aatrox or Shyvana top lane and Aatrox can do alright against most top laners. I've had a game where I was Aatrox and was fighting Mundo and they were complaining in all chat saying Aatrox is op and saying my sustain was "op" which I thought was funny considering that was from some one playing Mundo lol.

I usually use Full Attack Speed + Life Steal runes (3 life steal quints, and then everything else AS). Use the Fervor Mastery. For builds I generally go item 3153 item 3072 item 3065 item 3742 item 3006 . I never had the chance to, but I'll probably start building item 3124 since that is broken on any Melee auto attacking champion that has some ap scalings lol...Maybe I'll do it after Botrk and before Bloodthirster.

He does have poor team fighting but he is very good at fighting 1v1's and a lot of people underestimate him in lane. His has very high sustain and with your passive you are a little bit forgiving if you make a mistake. I think the only champion I couldn't out-sustain was Yorick but I was close which is saying a lot.

Aatrox can carry hard and wreck enemy teams if you commit to a fight you can win, and he can win a lot of fights if he is ahead. He wins lane easy with his sustain, well-placed pokes, and smart use of his W.
