Just like the title says having an indicator of your ping by the side of the menu would be great, before entering a game and finding out you have 1000 ping for no reason, fuking waste of time not doing shittt in the game since I couldn't do anything and now everyone is reporting me.

Leeerzeichen2 votesYou can't check exact ping, before you're in game because you are not connected to a game server at this time. However you can try opening a cmd and write "ping na.leagueoflegends.com" to ping the website, because the website-ping and the gameserver-ping are often comparable in my experience.
Gary B Enkelis1 votesThere are free websites to show your ping. I'm in the same boat as you. We all are..... It's a pain not knowing ping and I wouldn't expect someone or myself to check those sites often. Sometimes we're just unlucky and join with a bad ping. It happens to everybody. Yeah reports are scary but I think it's understandable if you join the game and have an unexpected ping. Just uhh maybe don't keep joining games if you start with a bad ping. Visit one of those sites or do what some people already suggested - to monitor your ping before joining another game.
