I don't know why but EDG had a strong champ comp, gold lead and a good team comp and better team playing this game but just because inf had an irelia able to deal an infinite amount of damage, the abilities to resist an absurd amount of damage while having the mobility of a yasuo they won.

Thanks riot for releasing characters better in every ways than others. Next champ will need karthus r, malphite passive, yasuo's mobility, zoé q, irelias stun.

Next champ is going to be Amumu, except it's ult will make it immune like Lissandra, and it will have twice the AP scaling of Katarina. Oh and instead of Amumu's Q, it will have a blink that roots all targets within 1000 units for 3 seconds and allows it to return to it's original location if recast within 30-300 seconds (based on level).

Honestly i cant see the irelia opness. I mean it s a team vs.team and.irelia was farming entire gamee. End.game.she s.like 3/3/3 . I see a better adc in her team. A better team comp maybe. But telling irelia is op, well, seems way too biased

Maybe because she got 2 huge AoE crowd control spells that both got a huge impact, while being tanky as shit (with a spell that also reduces damage), and being a diver / skirmisher, meaning she also deals damage, and also very mobile...

That had nothing to do with Irelia beeing op, it was EDG makeing some bad decisions around baron min 23/24 and haveing a worse lategame teamfight comp when they don't get a clean engage. EDGs indecisiveness arpund the first baron did cost them TP on fiors and controll over the area with no gain, which then resulted in infinite finding a good flank with rakans CC into irelias ult into sions knockup onto the enemie carry, kaisa died to the CC lockdown befor she could do anything. That had nothing to do with Irelia, it was simply EDG disrespecting the engage of inf and their controll of the top river.

it's worse as a top laner watching Worlds...

perhaps because top lane does not have agency to change games or that it's not a game-changing lane, teams do not factor top lane into its ban phase...

as a result, every game is just Urgot vs Aatrox...

When EGD lost because their team comp was shit late and they baron threw but somehow its Irelias fault 👍. This just proves how retarded the boards truly is. Instead of complaining about what makes Irelia so op they complain about a match that highlighted literally NOTHING. The NA gameplay boards truly is in the upper echelon.

this is exactly why I hate this season. You can shut down these champs, win all lanes, have a huge gold lead, but they can still deal insane damage despite how behind they are in gold. Nerf damage already.
