by how much are junglers actually "starved", how should they be compensated
So assuming junglers need compensation is 650 gold worth a bit excessive? Comparing runeglaive with IBG. 2250 vs 2900 gold.
How about 400/500 gold top, for wards mostly and time spent roaming...
Lets say you get compensation because you spending time stalking prey. This is time spent supposedly "doing nothing" and so they get compensated with a really powerful budget item. (though i would argue it mostly as being a banking on a scenario you deem could prove to be a return on investment isn't necessarily time wasted. A good jungle can gauge on long is too long or not.. )
proposal time spend stalking prey as jungler should give gold of sorts instead of compensation being on cheap jungle items. kind of like the old conservation stacks. (why did we do away with this instead of improve on it)
Hows this. while not jungling you get gold for revealing map/ fog of war. Or get gold for time since you last jungled get +5gold in a bank that you cash in on when you pull off a successful gank (kill in question might require team participation to cash in aka someone gets assist). (fog starting in river and into enemy half of map)
Right now as jungler you get cheap jungle item. But cheap jungle items doesn't necessarily mean you'll use this "compensation" to go spend more time preparing for ganks, at the moment i'm seeing junglers just farm even more. As they can just concern themselves with rushing the rest of their build even faster. You should not ever really spend much time lagging about anyways. Top elo junglers are always doing something. (there's enough to keep a jungler busy in this game with say lanes backing giving you their wave at times etc. In fact i would argue that junglers can in certain games have some of the highest source of income / experience depending on how well they manage their route. (i thought they we actually on par with other lane tbh, i don't get the reasoning behind all this compensation)
