Xin Zhao's rework can stay, I consider it a success

EDIT : Why are people downvoting? Do you guys not consider Xin's rework a success?

Darius is perfectly fine

Urgot needs adjustments or power shifts at worst. hes better off after his rework than before. he has conterplay around his leg procs.

Garen getting reverted is the last thing he needs. they need to move forward with him and rework villainy to make it feels less random. garens rework wasnt a complete success and he still has issues. but pre rework garen compared to post rework garen is still a lot less polarizing in success between high and low mmr. not even a joke. pre rework, garen had 55% winrate in bronze and was only viable up to d5. the difference is stil large, but a lot smaller to before.

Fiora doesnt need to be reverted. shes a better champion than before the rework

Irelia the concept of her new kit is fine. shes just overloaded when it comes to base stats, mana costs, attack range etc. they gave her too much of everything that has nothing to do with the mechanics of her kit. her w is a channel that cant be interrupted for some reason.

Sion are you high?

Yorick no. he was perfectly fine before they nerfed him for shit tier mmr

Warwick just why? are you just listing random reworks?

I think Yorick's rework is a failure since league is a team based game old yorick atleast had an ulti that was good for teamfights it was like a 10 second Zilean ult, now yorick can't do much in a teamfight since his kit is based too much of minions you get from your ult or when people dies but the problem with that in teamfights is that you don't have ult or you use your ulti and your ghouls die so you cant get new ones if you don't kill 3 people or you don't kill 3 minions with q.

Meh, old Yorick’s kit was to the point where he got taken off the free rotation and kept in a dumpster. That says something about the kit.

Yorick got reworked around his splitpushing, so that became his strength alongside some of the AI for his ghouls and Maiden. Splitpushing is a viable strategy for a teamgame because it still requires working with the team in some form, otherwise you’ll just keep getting killed due to not enough pressure elsewhere.

If Yorick does need more teamfighting power, his ghouls need to be a bit more accessible, perhaps a higher incentive to hold Maiden to make a 6v5 and get the ghoul refreshes. Likely some other changes as well, but for now he still has rather decent 1v1/2 and splitpush power.

True, I think the problem with old yorick was that he his spells costed too much mana and since you had to stack tear your power spike was too late I think that was the problem with old yoricks kit coming from a person who have mainly played yorick since season 3 I stopped playing him season 5 and picked up zed instead.

It was definitely more than just a mana cost issue if he got the treatment he did. Poppy had a similar treatment. It’s more of kit design than just mana costs. You don’t get dumpstered and taken off rotation just for manacost issues.

Granted, I only got to face old Yorick once..maybe twice, and it was a grueling matchup. So much of what I know comes from reading elsewhere.

Thank you for pointing these out. There’s others in the OP’s list I disagree with, but at this point I think the OP just has hate for any reworked champ, oddly enough leaving out Aatrox, Sejuani, Zac, and Maokai.

Edit, and Galio

It's not confirmed, and i doubt it ever will be. Riot put too much money into her (i know how it sounds).

But yeah, screw reworks, at least on that we can agree

Riot loses a lot more money than they spent on the alcohol needed to get the 3 dudes drunk enough to rework Akali . Everyday these reworks are on live Riot is losing billions of money, thousands of potential customers quitting in droves after seeing what an abomination their childhood game has become.

You have the evidence to support that anywhere?

Again, you have the evidence to support that anywhere?

There's barely any players anymore. There's a reason riot has always avoided publishing their player statistics/numbers. Just look at the amount of threads people make bitching and complaining about quitting this perfectly balanced game.

It's estimated that the playerbase has dropped a bit, yes. But there are still probably around 80 million players a month, which means that League is still in the top 3-ish PC games world-wide.

Solicitude2 votes

People have been bitching, complaining and "threatening" to leave since the beginning of League. Nothing new there. The only difference is that, because the player base is way higher than it used to be some years ago and more players come into the boards, the actual number of people doing these has increased, but their ratio towards the whole player base has either stayed the same or lowered. But more people posting these and more people reading them doesnt mean quite a lot. Especially since a lot of players who tell that they are leaving or come here and cry for others reasons, will either go back to playing immediately or they will just have a break of like some days and come back to play.

Truth is, there was a point the player base was around 100 millions and it dropped down at 80 millions. Not sure if the player base is getting lower, higher or stays at the same, but considering how many people are around talking about the game, there is still a shit ton of us still playing the game and i dont see any way this will change in the future, unless RIOT makes a huge ass freaking mistake and everyone leaves, highly unlikely though.

and losong millions of dollars ahahahah, ok, let me remember 1 thing ( K/DA Akali )

Oh yeah, Akali's totally perfectly balanced. Not like she doesn't have an unlimited range Lee Sin Q. A better Twitch Q. And a better Eve Q. For her E>W>Q respectively. COMPLETELY BALANCED RITO.

Oh don't forget Akali's R is basically a better Diana ult.

Old Akali was as much toxic as this one, Akali getting 6th level and gg murder machine incoming.

To be fair I see Akali played a lot more, and even banned more, than her previous self((from my perspective of playing them game, so don't get your panties in a twist about my opinion)

However the only issue I think they need to solve is the true invisibility under towers. She's harder to kill in her rework versus old. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

warwick, cass, taric, cait, evelynn, ezreal, urgot, fiora and gp were all completely fine reworks, tho akali needs a revert and so does irelia imo, only thing id keep on irelia is her new e for the extra way to reset and consistant cc which were old irelias main problems

WoΘxer1 votes

The only reworks must be revert from your list are:

Rengar, Akali, Fiora maybe.

FyreWall1 votes

The only champ that needs a revert is mordekaiser

Where did they decide to “revert” Akali? News to me. But the work that goes into a revert requires dumping all the new assests and trying to rebuild the old ones if they got rid of them. It’s too mch work, especially when people were previously calling for champs to get reworked because of the nature of their kits.

So no. I don’t buy this one bit. Besides, most of the reworks solved the actual problems those champs had, they just need some adjusting. Some more than others, but just adjusting nevertheless.

I liked your post until you mentioned to revert a bunch of champions that are perfectly fine. Then again you complained a few months ago that ADCs can right click people to death and that they need some sort of “skill mechanic” to auto attack so it’s prob to be expected of you.

TastyAlpacasRUs1 votes

I don't really care if they revert her, but I do feel like she needs to be tweaked. Specifically her new Twilight Shroud.

Reworked: "ACTIVE: Akali restores energy and detonates a smoke bomb in the target direction, creating a circular shroud that expands over the next 5 seconds into a ring. The shroud does not permeate terrain.

Entering the shroud renders Akali Twilight Shroud invisible, gaining bonus movement speed and causing all sources of true sight (including turrets) to grant obscured vision instead.

Akali's basic attacks and abilities will break the invisibility for 1 − 0.625 (based on minutes) seconds. Twilight Shroud's duration is extended by 0.5 seconds whenever she enters or breaks from the shroud, up to 6 times, for a maximum bonus duration of 3 seconds.

The Shuriken Flip marked section of Twilight Shroud's will linger for the mark's duration, even after the shroud ends"

[sg-lux-2] Excuse me, what is this baloney?

Old: "ACTIVE: Akali Channeling icon channels for 0.25 seconds during which she can not be displaced, and blinks to the target location, leaving a smoke cover for 8 seconds at her previous location and incurring a global cooldown of 0.5 seconds to all her other abilities.

The smoke cover grants sight of the area and slows all enemies within.

While inside the smoke cover, Akali immediately gains Twilight Shroud invisibility and movement speed.

If Akali uses a basic attack or ability inside her smoke cover, she will reveal herself for 0.65 seconds."

The fact that she is hidden from true sight(INCLUDING TURRETS), restores energy, gains bonus movement speed, AND her shroud is extended each time she enters OR breaks from it..... I'm sorry but excuse me? I really like the new idea of her rework and the overall idea but this baloney that is her new Twilight Shroud HAS to change. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Not only that but she is harder to kill than her old version. Like much harder. I main mid lane and I must always ban her(or someone else ends up doing it), because of the bs that is her new kit. This is just my honest opinion and you guys can disagree, but I feel that her shroud needs to be adjusted if anything. [slayer-jinx-unamused] [sg-ahri-3]

never played u1 votes

I really hope they do revert akali cause the way she is now shes always banned and its no fun to play here anymore I was mastery 6 with her before rework now I just think its boring to play her now*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*
