Totally idiotic matchmaking in normals

Why is my silver girlfriend forced to play against Diamond 2 support in normals when we duo?

The enemy team had 4 Diamonds (1 of them being Diamond 2) while my team had a gold, a silver, and 3 platinums.

She was so frustrated and disappointed in herself that she deleted the game.

When it's none of her fault, instead of this dogshit matchmaking not being even remotely fair for anyone.

I know, I know, "normal mmr and ranked mmr are 2 different things" , but still, how does a moronic scenario like this happen so often?

It's just an anecdotal thing btw, she usually has to play against diamonds 9/10 times.

Are you sure its 90% of her games vs diamonds? Are you sure you are not exaggerating? Also, maybe she is duo with someone that has played a lot of normals and they have high normal MMR?

Just play flex, should stabilize after 20-30 games
