No 1 person runs the show. Blaming a certain Rioter for a problem with his champion is like blaming Bill Gates for a problem with Windows (we'll just pretend Gates is still MS CEO for the comparison). Failures of a release are on multiple teams.

I am actually pretty confident that if Xin Zhao was released TODAY, he would be considered "good" at best.

It only makes an impression due to the timing.

Do you know how strong Yasuo would be if he was released at the time Xin Zhao was released? He would only be stopped by Jax.

Yasuo was already considered underpowered on release and got a large buff to his ultimate, to compare him to somebody who could literally 1v5 is dumb.

Yasuo would easily 1v5 at that time in the game as well is what I'm saying, but you don't seem to be able to comprehend that.

And we all saw how that buff turned out for Yasuo, but that's irrelevant to the point.

In fact, Yasuo would 1v5 much faster as well, since Xin Zhao at least have to do it single target.

He would even have dodge on top of his shield. Just lol.

Oh you mean at the time Xin was released, back when Stattik Shiv didn't exist and IE was much weaker and armor was actually a good stat. Still probably not.

Shiv didn't exist, but PD with dodge and better stats did.

IE was weaker, but BT was stronger, it would even out in the end. He would also most likely make some good use of Madred's Bloodrazor when wrapping up his full build.

Armor? We are talking about Yasuo mate, not such a thing exists for him.

You don't seem to understand the release of each champion relative to the time period they existed in.

Xin Zhao would be just "meh" right now. He would be burst down instantly, peeled infinitely (oh look, thresh, leona, braum didn't exist back then, what a coincidence) and overall be devalued to the state he currently is.

yasuo at the same time as release xin would be tottaly stomped by morde, pant, garren or sion at that time, and release vlade would go 1vs6 in hexakill and survive with fullhealth(atleast with current items)

If all champions where designed by him we would have LOTS of fun and strong champions. I really like how he designes champions (even the ones I will never use) because I always see new mechanics and powerful gameplay.

If you like the turret play as only way of winning this should not be the game for you. Go back to Tower Defense.
