I think it would be really fun and work really well. Also no cheating like in custom Ultimate Bravery :)

Haha, this would be even better as an official game mode cause you'd have no idea ahead of time what items you'd be getting when you go to shop.

(and on a side note, i still would love a mode in which you get a different Champion everytime you die - but keep all your items)

I've wanted to see something similar to this, but more like you draft two champions at a time and they keep separate gold and item lists. However, any gold earned as one champ transfers to the other. So, let's say you draft Ryze and Ashe. You buy a Mana Crystal and two potions, then go out and earn 1500 gold before you die. Ashe would then start with 1975 gold. Say she dies after earning 1200 gold. Ryze would then spawn with 2715 gold, which is the amount he had earned plus Ashe's minus his consumables. That way you have some control over what you play/do and don't get totally screwed if you have all AP items on an AD champ or the like.

I think I just love being screwed over...it would leave you with the choice of going for a hybrid-build so every champ you get will make use of it to an extend or going for some risk and maybe end up with a mighty Ap-Zed.

I wouldn't mind this being a game mode... I mean if someone were to do it in an actual game they'd get flamed... But if it were game mode all the derpyness would be there.

If you want to bump your thread you need to post it in GD. Bumping doesn't work here.

That said, Ultimate Bravery would be an amazing game mode for a spell. Some friends and I once did Ultimate Bravery in normal queue. The other team was hilarious in all chat.

It does work if people have threads sorted by "recent", though i doubt anybody does, worth a shot.

I would try doing Ultimate Bravery in normal queues, but i'm not sure if it would be considered bannable.

Basically nobody does, and it's annoying as shit to those of us who do.

The only function of bumping is to fuck over people who don't want to bump, and create an environment where contentless trash posts are required to get exposure. Better to never start the precedent.

I don't know, i mean i wouldn't bump a thread that no one had showed interest in, but if there is a thread that generates some interest and then falls off a bit, i think bumping it isn't necessarily inappropriate.

The problem is, once bumping becomes an established practice, posters will no longer be able to rely on genuine interest to get exposure on the 'recent' sorting list because they'll be crowded out by arguably worse threads that are getting bumped. You end up with any thread that isn't getting bumped falling off the front page, and turn recent sorting from 'Here's what people are talking about right now!' to 'Here's a random assortment of threads from the last few days.' Which defeats the point of having the sorting option in the first place.

Bravery is buying Boots, Mejai's, SoTo, Leviathan, Triforce, and Gunblade, and playing extremely aggro regardless of who you`re playing.

I guess Leviathan doesn`t exist anymore, but still. D:

if it was a game mode, you could actually be forced to buy the items in the order you're supposed to, only be allowed to level the skill it tells you to, have wards removed from the store and active effects of certain items, you wouldnt even have a champ select, just a skin select because everyone's champ and summoner spells would be instalocked

Yes please,it should be a permanent gamemode. Random champs,random summoner spells,semi-random item distribution(can buy items in whatever order you want).Spells are leveled automatically. Consumables are allowed to buy.

I actually prefer playing Bravery on Howling Abyss, as it doesn´t screw you over as much when you have to build stupid stuff first and get some better items later on due to less snowbally laning phase...laning as riven with archangel first vs a Darius that gets hydra first and then a rabadons just doesn´t turn out well most of the times - on HA it matters less.
