Why is it ALWAYS Nidalee with the invisible skill shots? I mean sure, every champion occasionally has the problem, but it seems to happen to Nidalee every other week.

It use to be a problem with every champion. Not sure if it still is. However not many champions have the singular ability to nuke you for 1/3-2/3 of your hp with one spell. Also most people don't have the range to launch shit from the fog of war reliable.

Actually most mages can nuke a squishy for a third of their health late game, if they are at similar build numbers and level.

Nid just has the ability to snipe you from the fog of war, though reliability is more about the player than the champ.

It's one of the narrowest skill shots in the game.

Depends on the champion. Most champions have to actually commit to do that kind of damage. Nid can hit you from the fog of war which is the problem because skill shots can be invisible when launched from the fog of war

Pretty sure the invisible missile is a bug that keeps springing up.

And you're right it depends on the champ, but I honestly can't think of a mage with a skill shot that can't chunk squishies.

The reason it shows up on nidalee the most is because of the range of her skill shot. That is what I was trying to get at. The range + the damage make it especially noticeable when the skill shot is invisible.

Could be worse, back in season 2 any ability used from a bush was invisible. That includes: veigar ults, caitlyn ults, ashe arrows, nid spears, brand ulti, all of corki abilities, caitlyn q, and well, use your imagination.

I don't play Jinx so not sure what her Zap is but it's that one. Guessing by the comments it's not Q but whenever she Zaps, sometimes it's invisible.

This happened to me with normal Nidalee. D:

I could see the yellowish effect on the spear tip, but not the actual spear. I was still too pro at dodging (most of the time anyway).

I know I'm the weird one here, but when I play against nid with the headhunter skin, I usually have a better time dodging the spears (compared to fighting classic nid) because they contrast with the ground more.
