with the build I use.
gets me onto whoever I want to focus probably 75% of the time. With + I get my priority target almost without fail.
I feel as though is a bit underwhelming and I don't Flash + R nearly as much as I'd expect. Not to mention Ghosting at someone Level 3 with a fresh Red Buff is pretty deadly.

ABlueQuaker1 votesStart Machete but don't upgrade. Rush Cleaver. Cinderhulk is the only worthwhile jungle item unless you're playing Nidalee or AP Bruiser Fizz.
Shahamut1 votesI would definitely still recommend a jungle item. Warrior is actually VERY strong on Skarner. And if nothing else, getting that tracker upgrade gives you free wards to go with your red trinket. Vision wins games.

Flash is definitely better since skarner already has a great slow/stun on E and speed buff on W. The ability to instantly reposition is valuable in more situations than just flash ult.
Wolfram Oxford2 votesI watched this one high elo player on twitch. He had no viewers, so I decided to just ask some things about his main, Skarner. He emphasized on this tip for him, tank Skarner will take flash so he can engage, and builds tank to survive the engage, bruiser Skarner takes ghost for stick potential. So I guess it depends on what you need to do that game based on both comps.

I had a game earlier where Ghost was definitely the right option, and then a blind pick game where I really needed Flash because they had way too much Ranged CC - nearly every enemy champion could self-peel from a relatively safe distance.

I'm only gold 5 (not a high elo i know) but I have over 70% winrate on skarner...
