nobody fucking cares that pro teams didnt contest it. pro teams dont contest anything that doesnt have a 90%+ success chance, because for every risk they take their carreers are on the line.

every time you make an objective "more rewarding to take", aka more risky to lose, you just incentivise them to play even more passive and take even less chances, because one wrong move can lose them the game. so they will keep dancing around each other for 40 minutes, until they see an opening, no matter how much you gut turrets or how many snowball mechanics you add.

That's how Worlds has become so boring to the average viewer, because Riot's desire for "Flashy plays" and their attempts to implement more reasons to make them (Your example of the Baron change, and countless others) only succeed in making the pros even MORE likely to NOT make "Flashy plays". Because as you say, 1 mistake can lead to the entire game being lost.

Worlds (Don't quote me on this, haven't actually WATCHED it since Season 5) from what I understand, has become a boring farming simulator until 1 player (or more) finally become sick of the standstill and try to do something, and if succeeds, they win, and if they fail, they lose.

If they want more "Flashy plays" then they need to stop taking a cue from Blizzard and Heroes of the Storm and making it to where one death equals Loss. Like I've said in past posts of yours, if you think this is bad, give HOTS a swing. [slayer-jinx-unamused] I only play it because a number of friends that used to be on here migrated to it.
