Downvote me all you want but i freaking hate Bard

Specifically having Bard as my support, its always the same story, he's there for the first 3 mins of the game and then he starts roaming for the rest of the match, and roaming in bard terms is literally never coming bot again and leaving me to 2v1 so i either have to hide behind turret and pick up the bits and pieces of farm i can or to just die over and over if they have some agressive support, nevermind that the enemy jungler will now start camping bot for free 3v1 turret dives.

Every damn time i get bard this happens, and when it doesnt then he still can't do shit cause his kit is pure garbage compared to other supports, miss your one ability and you're useless, that heal he has is laughable, his portal is highly situational and most likely wont help you in laning and his R, dont get me started on the R, the only time my Bard uses R is to troll me, ult me and leave me to die just for fun, or ult the enemy 1 hp away from death just to give him time to flash away.

Really who thought this monstrosity of a champ would be a good support, just compare his usefulness to any other damn supp in the game, hell if i wanted a support that deals damage and has one cc ability i'd take Brand,at least he does 10x more damage and his ult wont troll you in a teamfight.

Whenever i see my supp pick Bard my pressure goes up, i already know what's going to happen and that im gonna get tilted cause i'll get turret dived and they'll survive at 50 hp each while he's off picking meeps up in the enemy jungle and dying in the process, if not that then we'll get in a fight, he'll miss all his skillshots and be useless while the enemy has a soraka that can get her ADC to full hp in 2 abilities that aren't even point and click, one of them is just damn click while also silencing,rooting and slowing me.

Lets be real. That Rant thread is just the equivalent to back when you used to be able to select "unskilled" as a option when reporting people.

Just like the "unskilled" option that rant thread is pointless. Just a therapy session to let out frustration. Just like people feel empowered after reporting someone. All those "unskilled" reports was just wasted time making reported.

Hell that thread is already become a MEME thread....u got people over there complaining about why cant they get a girlfriend for crying out loud.

Try not being so aggressive while Bard is moving around. Whenever I play Bard, the most tilting thing I'll ever see is my ADC tower diving when I'm not in lane.

One of biggest degenerates in the game. So many board comments yet isnt ranked and has been stuck in silver and is losing normal games daily

You start your match with a bad attitude which most certainly affects your performance and you are pissed to even have your support being bard.

The next following things happen.

Scenario number 1:

You or Bard fucks up in lane, get killed or what ever and you start dumping on him your entire frustration. Bard, being an excellent roamer decides you are not worth supporting and goes to help other lanes.

Scenario number 2:

Bard hits 3 and goes roaming for his chimes(passive). You, mostlikely don't respect the fact that you are now in a 1vs2 lane and you need to not extend for farm and wait for it to come closer to your turret. Because of this, you overextend, you get killed, you flame bard for leaving lane to get his passive stacks.

Scenario number 3:

That bard was a complete fucking moron. Yeah, some people are morons. Even adcs. Even sorakas, namis and threshs. Name any champion in the game and there are idiots who play them.

Bard is a HUGE playmaker. He can dive really easily with his ult and save teammates from dying with his ults, deny enemies escape with his ult and so on and so forth. His ult is one the best abilities in the game.

His kit is fantastic. High mobility, sustain in lane thanks to his shrine, infinite mana thanks to his chimes and double stun thanks to his q which fits perfectly into bot lane. His E is amazing for setting up ganks.

PLEASE... Bard is an insane support. Don't shit on him for no real reason.

I have a real reason, its a mater of preference and i just hate bard supports. Whenever he goes to roam for chimes this extends to roaming mid and then picking up more chimes on the other side of the map, meanwhile they have an Alistar Draven bot and will turret dive me for a free kill.

You can continue to rant about how annoying is it to play with bard meanwhile all you need to do to solve that is to learn how to play safe and freeze your wave next to your tower so you don't need to extend for farm.

Freezing the lane wont make him hit q or increase the healing on his e, or make him not troll me with his R

No one is perfect. You can't always hit your skillshots. Some people have good positioning and make it really hard. You're saying that like it's a problem with the champ.

His healing is on w, not e, which really shows you didn't play this champ and see for yourself that hitting that ult 10/10 is really hard and the q also because it has a really low range.

This is a high skillcap champion and because there are not many support mains out there and even leas bard mains you get bards that don't perform well because the champ itself is hard.

When you stack 3 shrines it makes up for a really, really nice heal( 40-50% of your health).

If you just pick up the shrines right when bard puts them down they are not gonna give anything. They need to charge for 10 seconds. His heals are very nice and they give movement speed too. They cost so little and you can spam them under your turret and they provide insane sustain for laning phase.

And again, his R is a high skillcap ability because it is extremely volatile and can be hit or miss.

You are taking your anger on the champ instead of the people playing the champ. You just didn't meet a main yet.

This is my whole point cant you see that your point is exactly why i hate bard, its a high skill champ that whose sklls arent that rewarding compared to easier supps.

When you need it the most a bard might miss a skillshot but Zilean will always point and click ult you to bring you back from the dead, or lulu/soraka/nami that will heal/shield you with point and click spells for more than bard could

Idk what kind of Bards you are getting, but Bard can be a really great support. He has kill potential level 1 with his Q and can bully early in lane with his passive auto attacks. His ult can set up kills from miles away; sure you can mess up with it, but it can be a great tool. And he's one of the best roamers in the game.

When I'm Bard, I always try to read my lane partner and opponent. I am going to roam when I can get away with it (as many supports should try to do, especially someone like Bard or Alistar) but obviously some situations aren't good. I always return and make sure my ADC is farming ok and not getting dove 24/7. I would say a good Bard will spend roughly 25% of the time roaming during lane phase, give or take depending on the situation (like an Ezreal ADC is pretty safe to leave for a little bit longer, as he can escape easily and farm from far away). A Bard always hopes that their ADC is more careful while they roam, but sometimes ADCs don't know how to play without a support for even a minute or two.

Basically, Bard can be really good, but some people are crap at him. Like any other Champion. Just the other day I had a bad Janna in an ARAM. How do you screw that up? She couldn't peel for crap, we had a tank and everything. Some people are just bad at certain Champions, or have a bad game.

I dont want my supp roaming, i dont want my supp maybe hitting his stun or his R when you can have Soraka that will point and click heal you to max hp. What is there not to get, i can like/dislike any champion, i know what he's good at and how he's played and i just hate the idea of having a support whose passive and entire kit is designed around leaving the person you're support, especially if the enemy has a good thresh or alistar that will keep diving you

Ok, so you don't like anything other than heal bot Soraka to come babysit you. I get it.

You can like/dislike whatever you want, but understanding that some people are good at the Champion and can actually really get you ahead is all I was trying to impart on you. I absolutely hate Shaco, I think he's the most selfish Champion in the game; I hate playing with him or against him. He's awful. But I recognize that some people are actually really good with him and can do some crazy split pushy bamboozle shit. Just because I dislike the Champion doesn't make me right about everything. It doesn't make Shaco inherently useless.
