Just because your adc said 1 mean word to you doesn't give you the right to steal cs and not buy sightstone. Remember, you have 3 other teammates who need your warding. As a solo laner or jungler, the best support I can get is having a fed adc.

I actually enjoy supporting for normal games. Experimenting with builds and off meta picks can be fun. Also, just playing 
support is usually always fun for me, even if we lose.

Except this occurs when I play mid lane. I am just peacefully farming minions then our adc dies 2v2 bot lane. Our adc calls our support "bad" for losing the 2v2. Then our support goes "ok then, I will steal all your cs and not buy sightstone."

You mention something about 'doesn't give you the right' to do something in response. What gave your ADC the right to call you bad? Nothing does. Just like nothing 'gives them the right' to steal 'your' farm. That and Sightstone is NOT REQUIRED. Just highly incentivized. You died. So what. Move on. No real need to try to make sure people are looking at someone else for the death and not your own failures.

I will take the verbal abuse and still do my best, but if you make a bad choice, don't expect me to try and save you. The road goes both ways. Supports, who actually try to play support, will make mistakes and don't need the verbal abuse. In the same token, the support should always try doing their job in helping the entire team. Also keep in mind that sometimes the adc won't matter. In a recent game as Leona I used 
on the Pantheon as opposed to my adc because he did the better damage.

Flaming is a hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users, often involving the use of profanity. It can also be the swapping of insults back and forth or with many groups teaming up on a single victim.
So yes, while it could be infinitely worse, calling someone bad would be considered flaming. My argument was more based along the lines that it also gets worse if no one tries to stop it.

Specially this season so far. A lot of supports are really strong.
Once you get higher up it's harder to carry as Support because other people should be getting smarter decision making skills too. But 70-80% the playerbase is not in/near 'higher up'.
I got a pretty recent game as Leona I went 12-4-25. Carried that game pretty much on my own.
And before you cry "lol support main scrub". I don't play support.. LOL (often)

k wìx1 votesAs a support main, I generally spend the first quarter of the match assessing my ADC. If he trips up to many red flags... I will take over the lane, because I know I am a better player, and am more likely to carry the game with ANY champion, rather than him struggling to get CS.
Learning to do this took awhile, and has won me many, many games in solo queue.
It's very easy to tell when you have a terrible adc.
