Red smite is better for 1v1 duels

Kindred is not a duelist, Udyr is

Udyr is one of the best champions for 1v1, but he has no gap closers, no aoes, and he's all 100% melee

just in case though, WHEN did this fight occur? I assume pretty early considering the items, but then again, with next to no passive stacks, how can you realistically beat him? also as a super squishy jungler, its no surprise he won, being that he is classed as an exceptional early duelist

Yes it was early, but It just surprised me having a whole 1100 gold item on him and he won.

did he smite you? and what level were you both when this happened?

because if he did smite you, you lost about 20% damage plus taking extra damage if he got close enough to land CC, and red smite has higher base damage then blue smite. plus, you might have had an 1100 GOLD advantage, but gold dosent always equal power, especially in this case, because your only actual damage buff was a +25 AD from Warhammer, and maybe if you had any passive stacks.

Kindred is pretty weak atm, even in the hands of highly experienced players, but you can make her work if you put enough dedication into it. However, that being said, Udyr is currently really strong, especially against Kindred in the early game, since you have little damage early, and don't scale as hard as other ADCs.

to me according to her lore her ult makes no sense, maybe should be sooner u leave more dmg u take from her ult longer she stays in more she heals an only protects her as a trade off, an one of her abilities need a push effect w/ then either a root or pull

Kindred (current) main here. Kindred is neither useless, nor is Udyr overpowered (... mostly).

I’d argue that Udyr is probably Kin’s hardest counter, and that unless your so fed that it doesn’t even matter anymore, Kin is always going to lose a direct 1v1.

Also you went blue smite. Kin really wants the red smite.
