i understand that because riot nerfed resistances so the poke early game is cancerous you only see teemo pantheon jayce quinn vayne cuz why you have to live in fear as a melee if your opponent poke you to death and you ask the jungler for help but he doesn't care so you have to be cancerous as well and only pick poke champs in top lane
Being cancer to combat cancer isn't healthy
People play whatever is strong at the time, but on occasion they run into someone who doesn't follow the meta. They run into those people who play their champion regardless of whether they are strong or meta, and they learn to play their champion well in the worst of situations.
People might play poke champions because they are easy, but that will not earn them mercy at the hands of a practiced one trick.
Anytime i'm against poke champs i pick 
with comet, max Q and run over them.
