Has anything been revealed yet?

I believe this was the last time we talked about Swain: https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/2017/10/champion-roadmap-october-2017/
[deleted]
olaf and mundo and trynda those champs are boring only AA champs all needs a rework for nice flashy plays like zed
olaf and mundo aren't based on autoes...
olaf only throw an axe lol like mundo
only rely on AA
Not sure if you're the right person to ask but will we get a champ roadmap after Swain's rework?
Yep!
If the next champion released is coming from Piltover or Zaun, blink 2 times!
No, not another one. Muh void... I know void shouldn't be too filled, but If they invade Runeterra, then it counts as making void more void.
The last new champ from Zaun was Ekko, some time ago. And Piltover's last was Camille, but it still lacks champs. Piltover needs more diversity.
You are right that we could use a new voidling, though.
I count Warwick and Urgot as Zaunite releases since VGUs are presented similar to as new champs. Also I realize Camille was last, but it's still not as far as last champions of other regions.
Don't think this is how this works. We got 3 Ionian releases in a row this year, but Irelia still got slated for her VGU soon.
I think new champs and VGUs are seen as different cases here.
Can we get a rough idea of when he'll be hitting the PBE, like late January early February? I'm interested to know what has changed about him.
Why you gotta do this?
cries in helpless overhypedness
Is he being balanced for mid or top? or both?
nah, he's being fully reworked
Could I ask if you guys brought some guest Swain playtesters to try him like Quas?
While we haven't brought in any superstars, we've run a number of player labs for Swain that consisted of Swain mains and mage mains of various skill levels. Their feedback has proven super valuable in Swain's development. :)
If there's still time left to iterate before his reveal I'd def recommend bringing him as I personally feel his feedback could be useful as one of the most iconic Swain mains, but I'm sure Alex will do a great job regardless
I have an extremely important question about the update. Is he still rocking the blue triple Mohawk, or is that nixed? What's his head situation?
What phase is his development at the moment? Is his kit almost settled and undergoing polish, or are you still exploring?
when can we expect Swain to make his tactical return?
8.2? 8.3?
The most important question: Does he still have Beatrice as a part of his kit (in any form)?

With the Bilgewater Swain skin going on sale soon, I was wondering if you could give us a small hint on how it looks... Is it similar to the original, or did they do a full overhaul to it.
Just curious because currently I'm not a huge fan of it, so if the rework makes swain look like a badass pirate I'd be down for the 260RP gamble.
Or perhaps riot can show off what swain will look like before the sale?
So I know for sure I'm going to be playing a lot of new Swain when he goes live...what I don't know yet is which skin I'm going to "main" because they all are insanely awesome - Bilgewater Swain included. :D
Is he still a big ol' healy boi? I like my big ol' healy boi.

The real question is : Does the early bird still gut the worm?

Good thing I am not a hacker or else I would have gone in and leak the specs.
I hope instead of op he is going to be balanced. Fun? Which in league vocalubry usualy means cancer? I hope not.
op is more fun than meh balanced = weak
op is more fun than meh balanced = weak
Balanced is neither op or weak, thats the inbetween. Op isn't fun because when you win it doesn't give you the "i was better so i won" feeling, only the " my champ was better so i won" feeling. Some of us don't find that satisfactory.
well even challenger players only look for op champs to keep their elo high so playing op champs is indeed a smart move to win games and winning games is the goal

If you want elo of course but i rather have my wins my prefered champs, even if its harder to achieve.
You sir are correct
I'm gonna miss Swain. (100 games season 7)
he is that kind of champ like galio and garen when you build him tanky is not tanky enough and when you build him damage not enough damage always in the middle

Garen is super tanky lol and when Galio came out he was extremely tanky but I agree with Swain.
nope garen when u build him not like when u build rammus or maokai
Emphasis on the OP part.
so what's changing
